Abstract

FIELD: food industry; filtration equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to milk concentrate production technique using secondary raw material, in particular, fabrication of ultrafiltration membrane distinguishing with high selectivity in respect to proteins when separating curds serum under low pressure (0.1-0.2 MPa). The task is achieved by pouring acetone solution of cellulose acetate onto an immobile, smooth, confined surface observing proportion of solution volume to surface area 0.4-1.4, 0.4-1.02, and 0.4-0.6 for 5, 10, and 15% concentrations of solution, respectively. Formation of membrane is completed when drying during one day. EFFECT: increased protein-selectivity in filtration processes.

Claims (1)

This invention is intended to be used in the field of technology for the production of milk concentrates from secondary raw materials. The task is to develop a method for producing a UAM-500 type ultrafiltration membrane with higher protein selectivity compared to known membranes of the same type when separating curd whey at low pressure (0.1 - 0.2 MPa). A method of obtaining ultrafiltration cellulose acetate membranes involves applying a solution of cellulose acetate in an acetone solvent on a smooth surface. The formation and drying of the membrane is characterized in that the cellulose acetate solution is applied to a fixed limited surface by irrigation with a ratio of solution volume to surface area of 0.4 - 1.4 for a 5% concentration, 0.4 - 1.02 for 10% - concentration and 0.4 - 0.6 for a 15% concentration, and molding is carried out by evaporation of the solvent during the day.
