Abstract

FIELD: medicine, stomatology. SUBSTANCE: proposed method resides in subjecting patient to combined effect of laser light irradiation and tissue-grafting operation. Inventive novelty of method resides in fact that treatment of parodontites is effected in three stages. During first stage, in order to eliminate parodont inflammation, parodont is irradiated with light of semiconducting pulsed UZOR-type laser at wavelength 0.85-0.95 mcm, field exposure time 90-120 seconds, 3 irradiation sessions being conducted daily. During second treatment stage, grafting operation is performed within parodont-affected pathologic focus. For this purpose, trapezoidal grafts are detached on both sides of alveolar process, accompanied by deepithelization of internal surface of parodontal pockets with light emitted by erbium pulsed CAMEA-type laser at wavelength 2.94 mcm, light beam power 0.2-1.0 J/pulse, pulse sequence frequency 10-20 Hz. During third treatment stage, in order to intensify regeneration of parodontal tissues within operation area, latter is irradiates with light of pulsed semiconducting UZOR-type laser at wavelength 0.85= 0.95 mcm, laser beam power 0.5-1.0 Wt, pulse sequence frequency 2-3 kHz, field exposure time 60-90 seconds, 2-3 irradiation sessions being effected every other day. Inventive novelty of proposed method resides in fact that it uses new lasers, namely: semiconducting pulsed UZOR-type laser, erbium pulsed CAMEA- and ERMED-type lasers, etc, which are distinguished from hitherto used lasers in number of parameters: wavelength, laser beam power, frequency. New method can be used for mass ambulance reception of patients in stomatologic polyclinics, divisions and cabinets. EFFECT: reduced operation-caused traumatism; enhanced treatment efficiency; shorter treatment duration; overall savings on lower cost of new lasers, lower operating costs, lower consumption of medicaments, etc.

Claims (1)

п.The invention relates to medicine, in particular to dentistry, and can be used on a mass outpatient basis in dental clinics, departments and offices. A method of treating periodontitis, including the action of laser light in combination with a patchwork operation, characterized in that the treatment of periodontitis is carried out in 3 stages: in the first stage, to eliminate periodontitis inflammation, it is irradiated with light from a semiconductor pulsed laser of the Pattern type with a wavelength of 0.85-0 , 95 μm, with a power of 3.0 - 3.5 W, pulse repetition rate of 40 - 100 Hz, exposure of 90 - 120 s per field, 3 procedures (daily), at the second stage, a patchwork is performed in the area of the pathological focus of the periodontium with trapezoidal reclining los cuts on both sides of the alveolar ridge with de-epithelization of the inner surface of periodontal pockets with the light of an Kameya-type erbium pulsed laser with a wavelength of 2.94 μm, a power of 0.2 - 1.0 J / imp, a pulse repetition rate of 10 - 20 Hz and at the third stage to stimulate the regeneration of periodontal tissues in the area of operation, it is irradiated with light from a semiconductor pulsed laser of the Pattern type with a wavelength of 0.85 - 0.95 μm, a power of 0.5 - 1.0 W, a pulse repetition rate of 2 - 3 kHz, exposure 60 - 90 s on the field, 2 - 3 procedures (every other day). New in the method is the use of new laser technology (semiconductor pulsed laser of the Pattern type, erbium pulsed lasers of the Kameya, Ermed type, etc.), which differs in its parameters from the one used in the known method in a number of parameters: wavelength , power, frequency, reduction of operating injury, increase of treatment efficiency, reduction of treatment time, overall economic effect, including by reducing the cost of new laser equipment, operating costs, saving medicines, etc.
