Abstract

FIELD: chemical industry, fuel microemulsion process. SUBSTANCE: microemulsions are being prepared by mixing of dispersion medium with 15 - 85 mass % of water with following vibrocavitating action in homogenizer with stationary working member - stator and movable member - rotor, that have perforated holes. Usage of composition is of no more than 0.2 m/sper rotor surface unit with circular speed of its rotation at least 12 m/s. To prepare fuel microemulsion hydrocarbon heavy fractions, light fractions (petrol, diesel fuel) are used as dispersion medium. Composition is additionally introduced with surface active substances in amount of 0.03 - 1.5 mass %, burning regulator, for example, cyclohexylnitrate, norbornitrate in amount of 0.1 - 0.5 mass % and emulsion stabilizer, for example, residual oil in amount of 0.2 - 0.5 mass %. Highly stable emulsion is produced. EFFECT: usage of microemulsions in internal combustion engines provides is cost-effective and ecological-effective.

Usage: chemical technology, fuel microemulsions. Essence: microemulsions are prepared by mixing a dispersion medium with 15-85 wt.% Water, followed by vibrocavitation exposure in a homogenizer with a fixed working element, a stator and a moving element with a rotor having perforation holes. The consumption of the composition is not more than 0.2 m 3 / s • m 2 per unit surface of the rotor and the peripheral speed of its rotation is not less than 12 m / s. For the preparation of a fuel microemulsion, heavy hydrocarbon fractions, light hydrocarbon fractions (gasoline, diesel fuel) are used as a dispersion medium. Surfactants in an amount of 0.03-1.5 wt.%, A combustion regulator, for example cyclohexyl nitrate, norbornitrate in an amount of 0.1-0.5 wt.% And an emulsion stabilizer, for example fuel oil, can be additionally introduced into the composition the amount of 0.1-0.5 wt.%. Emulsions with high stability are obtained. The use of fuel microemulsions in internal combustion engines ensures the efficiency and environmental friendliness of their work.
