Abstract

The invention relates to the processes for emulsion stabilization and may be used in boiler houses for burning of liquid hydrocarbon fuel in the presence of water.Summary of the invention consists in the stabilization of water-fuel oil emulsion using an emulsifier, containing in mass %: oil-fat industrial waste saponification products - 90…95; ultrafiltrated concentrate of petroleum oil and cooling liquid - 2…5; solvent (diesel fuel) - 2…3. The saponification products are obtained with the help of calcium hydroxide and catalyst (oxides of heavy metals) in the ratio (95…98):1. The emulsifier is introduced into the water-fuel oil mixture in the amount of 1…3% vol. with the subsequent flux dispersion by the “magnetic liquefaction” method in rotating electromagnetic field.The result consists in increasing the efficiency of the process for stabilization of water-fuel oil emulsions and in decreasing the quantity of noxious effluents.
