Abstract

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting out conjunctival flap and superficial scleral flap and removing deep layers of sclera, fixing the superficial scleral flap with nodal sutures and stitching continuous suture on the conjunctiva. After cutting out superficial scleral flap, a through cut is carried out on each of two short sides and one long side of rectangular flap with the other long side being bent under the deep layers of sclera and hydrogel drain with preprogrammed degradation time is implanted, its size being equal to 2x5 mm. The drain is provided with antiinflammatory preparation like dexazone which infusion takes place in the course of drain biodegradation. Then iridectomy is carried out making a cut of 2.0x2.0 mm near the rectangle base adjacent to the limbus. Next to it, the scleral flap is placed back and fixed with nodal suture. EFFECT: reduced complication risk.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for the surgical treatment of glaucoma. Purpose: reduction of the above operational and postoperative complications, as well as reducing the morbidity of the operation. The inventive method for surgical treatment of glaucoma by cutting a conjunctival flap, superficial scleral flap, removing deep layers, sclera, fixing the superficial scleral flap with interrupted sutures and applying a continuous suture to the conjunctiva, characterized in that after cutting the superficial scleral flap, a through incision is made of two short and one long side of a rectangular flap with the other long side twisted under the deep layers of the sclera, implant hydroge drainage with a programmed biodegradation period of 2 x 5 mm, equipped with an anti-inflammatory drug, for example, dexazone, which is infused as the biodegradation of the drainage is performed, then an iridectomy is made with a 2 x 2 mm incision at the base of the rectangle adjacent to the limbus, after which the scleral flap is returned in their place and fix with a nodal seam.
