Abstract
FIELD: electrophysical methods of machining. SUBSTANCE: method for electric discharge machining is implemented with rotary disc electrode-tool provided with electric arc stage of a process with arc discharges continuous in time. Continuous arc is characterized with minimum intensity level of local short circuits in inter-electrode gap. The method provides adjustment of machining feed in response to a signal characterizing an appropriate intensity level of local short circuits. EFFECT: high capacity.

Цель изобретения - повышение производительности электроконтактной обработки, снижение износа электрода-инструмента и шероховатости обработанной поверхности. Известны способы электроконтактной обработки вращающимся дисковым электродом-инструментом, в которых для достижения определенных технологических результатов используется электродуговая фаза процесса с непрерывными во времени дуговыми разрядами. Установлено, что процесс с непрерывной дугой характеризуется минимальным уровнем интенсивности локальных коротких замыканий межэлектродного зазора. По предлагаемому способу регулируют скорость рабочей подачи по сигналу, характеризующему определенный уровень интенсивности локальных коротких замыканий.The invention relates to the field of electrophysical processing methods.
