Индукторная электрическая машина может быть использована в качестве двигателей, генератора или электромагнитной муфты. Индукторная электрическая машина содержит обмотку из катушек 1, размещенных на явно выраженных зубчатых полюсах 2 магнитопровода 3. Цилиндр 8 при этом выполнен тонкостенным из магнитного материала с геометрией подобной геометрии явнополюсного магнитопровода 3 в месте контакта по всей толщине тонкостенного цилиндра 8 в пределах длины активной части цилиндрического зубчатого ротора 6 и явнополюсного магнитопровода 3.
