Abstract

FIELD: pressing irons. SUBSTANCE: steam-generating pressing iron includes water reservoir, steam chamber and system for water supply from reservoir to steam chamber. Due to the use of the salts of phosphinic acid as agent for prevention of scale formation, clogging of water supply system is avoided. It was found that the most suitable for the purpose are low-soluble compounds of phosphinic acid salts. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
