Предложен способ получения активного угля, включающий прессование измельченного углеродосодержащего материала, карбонизацию гранул до температуры 550 - 650°С со скоростью нагрева 20 - 25°С/мин, термообработку до температуры 900 - 950°С со скоростью подъема 1 - 3°С/мин и активацию гранул водяным паром с последующим их дроблением до 0,5 - 1,5 мм.
