Изобретение относится к химической промышленности, в частности, к производству вспомогательных веществ для отделки текстильных материалов на глиоксаль-карбамид-формальдегидной основе. Сущность изобретения заключается в том, что в способе получения предконденсата низкоформальдегидной термореактивной смолы, включающем конденсацию карбамида с глиоксалем в кислой среде, метилолирование полученного продукта формалином в щелочной среде, этерификацию продукта метилолирования метанолом в кислой среде и последующую нейтрализацию, этерификацию проводят в присутствии продукта фосфатирования бутанола фосфорным ангидридом при мольном соотношении метанола и исходного карбамида 1,7 - 2,5 : 1. Изобретение позволяет получить целевой продукт со степенью этерификации 55 - 80% при сокращении расхода метанола, с остаточным содержанием метанола не выше 6 мас%, с содержанием свободного формальдегида не выше 0,2 мас%.The invention relates to the chemical industry, in particular, to the production of auxiliary substances for the finishing of textile materials on the glyoxal-urea-formaldehyde basis. The invention allows to obtain a target oh product with a degree of esterification of 55 - 80% while reducing the consumption of methanol with residual methanol content of no greater than 6% by weight, with a free formaldehyde content no greater than 0.2 wt%.
