С целью повышения активности катализатора, содержащего оксиды никеля и хрома, в него дополнительно в качестве промотирующих добавок вводятся оксиды бария и железа, нанесенные на носитель из оксида кварца, при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас. %: оксид никеля 3,5 - 5,1; оксид хрома 16,0 - 18,0; оксид бария 0,05 - 0,15; оксид железа 0,03- 0,25; оксид кварца - остальное.
