Устройство относится к области машиностроения, в частности к системам снижения загрязнения атмосферы отработавшими газами двигателей внутреннего сгорания. Устройство выполнено из двух тонкостенных обечаек, между которыми расположена пористая структура, выполняющая роль капиллярного насоса, по которой вода и углеводородное топливо подается к внутренней обечайке, разогреваемой отработавшими газами. Реактор имеет два входа для воды и углеводородного топлива и общий выход, выполненный в виде турбулизатора. Каталитический блок выполнен из аналогичных тонкостенных обечаек, между которыми расположен катализатор. Устройство позволяет снизить выбросы СО в атмосферу в 2,0 - 3,0 раза, выбросы углеводородов в 5 - 10 раз, экономить топливо от 25 до 40%, а также использовать низкоактановые бензины в любом двигателе, и тем самым обеспечить экономичность двигателя и экологическую чистоту современных автомобилей.The device relates to the field of engineering, in particular to systems for reducing atmospheric pollution with exhaust gases of internal combustion engines.
