Устройство относится к области многопильных станков для резки древесины и предназначено для продольной распиловки бревен за один или несколько проходов с выходом чистового материала, не требующего дальнейшей обработки. Станок содержит подвижную каретку, совершающую возвратно-поступательное перемещение по направляющей, расположенной вдоль бревна и ленточнопильный узел с приводными барабанами и ленточной пилой, а также пильный узел с блоком дисковых пил, размещенный на общем валу и соединенный с приводом. При этом оба пильных узла закреплены непосредственно на каретке, причем пильный узел с дисковыми пилами шарнирно закреплен на каретке с возможностью изменения глубины пропила. Направляющая установлена на неподвижных стойках-опорах с возможностью вертикального перемещения. Станок данной конструкции позволяет производить распиловку древесины с большой экономией сырья (выход готовой продукции может доходить до 85%), энергии, времени, трудозатрат, производственных площадей.
