The method relates to a means of cleaning the soil from oil pollution and can be used to restore land in areas of oil production. In known methods, purification is carried out by exposure to oxygen-containing substances that give free radicals upon decomposition, followed by exposure to oil-eating microorganisms, using ozone and ozone-containing salts as such substances. The method uses peroxide compounds, for example, hydroperite, which is moistened with soil and exposed to solar radiation and / or plant particles, as a result of which hydroperite decomposes into hydrogen peroxide and urea, hydrogen peroxide decomposes with the formation of free radicals that affect oil, and the remaining urea in water serves as a nutrient for microorganisms. The proposed method is cheaper and safer.
