Description

The utility model relates to such household items as smoking accessories and is intended primarily for use with an ashtray to extinguish cigarette butts, cigarettes, cigarettes, etc.

Widely known are ashtrays designed to extinguish and store cigarette butts for some time. In the process of extinguishing a cigarette, the consumer often smudges his fingertips on other cigarette butts and ashes from previously extinguished cigarettes in the ashtray. In addition, a pungent odor forms during normal cigarette extinguishing.

The technical result of the utility model is to increase the operational and consumer properties of the proposed device, which are achieved due to the following set of features.

The case of the device for extinguishing tobacco products (cigarette extinguisher) has at least one through channel configured to accommodate a tobacco product, for example, such as a cigarette. The edge of the wall of this channel, forming the outlet, is located at the same level or deepened relative to the base of the housing, which ensures stability of the base and closed access for external oxygen from the air necessary for the combustion process. The edge of the channel wall forming the inlet can be recessed into the inside of the housing and connected to its upper edge by a wall, preferably having an arcuate concave surface, which facilitates shaking off the ash inside the channel during smoking of the tobacco product.

Part of the edge of the housing of the specified device from the side of the inlet can be made with a recess of an arc-forming shape under

a tobacco product, for example, a cigarette, like recesses formed at the edges of an ashtray.

The device body or part of it on the base side is preferably in the form of a truncated cone to ensure greater stability of the device.

Between the wall of the housing and the wall of the channel, a cavity may be formed that is open on the base side to reduce the weight of the device. The body of the device is made primarily of heat-resistant polymer material.

The housing 1 of the preferred embodiment of the proposed device (cigarette extinguisher) shown in the drawing has the shape of a truncated cone with a straightened narrowed upper part 2 and an extended stable base 8. A part of the upper edge of the housing is made with a hole 3 to limit the movement of the cigarette placed on the edge of the cigarette extinguisher during smoking. In the middle of the case in the vertical direction, a through channel 4 is formed (Fig. 2), the width of which allows you to place a cigarette or its cigarette butt in it. The specified channel has a predominantly circular cross-sectional shape.

The edge of the wall of the channel 4, forming the inlet 5, is recessed into the housing and connected to the upper edge of the housing by a wall having a predominantly slightly concave (arched profile) surface 6.

The edge of the wall of the channel 4, forming the outlet 7, is placed at one level or slightly higher than the level of the edge of the base of the housing 8.

A cavity 9 is formed between the walls of the housing 1 and the channel 5 to reduce the weight of the device.

The body of the device is made of durable heat-resistant and lighter than metal polymer material. The execution of the device body hollow allows you to further reduce its weight.

In addition to the variant of the device (cigarette extinguisher) shown in the drawing, other variants of its execution are possible. For example, it is possible to make the housing elongated with several sequentially placed through channels having a vertical or inclined axis, or devices of another, for example, an annular shape with several of these channels.

In one device, channels of different diameters for different thicknesses of tobacco products can be formed.

Use the proposed device (cigarette extinguisher) as follows. Before use, it is installed on the bottom of the ashtray, usually having a flattened surface. After smoking a tobacco product (cigarette), its cigarette butt is placed with its lit end inside the channel 4. As a result of the fact that the access of oxygen to the channel outlet 7 is much more difficult, the cigarette butt goes out quickly without spreading a foul smell to the environment. In addition, by placing a cigarette butt in a cigarette extinguisher, the consumer is saved from the possibility of fingers touching the contents of the ashtray.

A device for extinguishing tobacco products, the housing of which has at least one through channel configured to accommodate a tobacco product, the wall edge of this channel forming an outlet being located at the same level or deepened relative to the base of the housing. 2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the edge of the channel wall forming the inlet is recessed into the housing and connected to the edge of the latter by the wall. 3. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that a part of the edge of the housing from the inlet side is made with an arc-shaped recess for a tobacco product. 4. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the housing or its part from the base has the shape of a truncated cone. 5. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that between the wall of the housing and the wall of the channel, a cavity is formed, open from the side of the base. 6. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the housing is made of heat-resistant polymer material.
