Description
The utility model relates to medical equipment, namely to micro-instruments in ophthalmology and can be used to fragment the lens nucleus during surgery for cataracts through a small tunnel incision.
A device is known for fragmenting the lens nucleus (RF patent No. 2167635 dated 05/27/2001), containing the mechanism of destruction of the nucleus, made in the form of two external and internal tubes placed in one another and an aspiration system. Both tubes are equipped with a common longitudinal through cut with teeth at the ends of the cut of each tube. After introducing the sclera through the tunnel incision into the anterior chamber, the eyes of the device tip inform the inner tube by means of a drive reciprocating movements along the outer tube. Performing reciprocating movements, the teeth of the inner tube, working together with the teeth of the outer tube, perform a furrow on the entire thickness of the lens nucleus. The disadvantage of this device is the difficulty of working with this device in the anterior chamber of the eye, the high morbidity for the surrounding tissues during the execution of the groove of the lens nucleus, as well as the complexity of use.
The closest in technical essence is the tweezers-fragmentator (RF patent No. 2194463 dated 12/20/2002), containing two rigidly connected springy branches with working jaws at the ends, the jaws are located to the branches at an obtuse angle. One of the sponges has one tooth at the end, and the other has two teeth for the tooth of the opposite jaw to enter between them in the plane of separation of the jaws. The sponges have a variable cross-section along the length, which tapers towards the teeth. The inner surface of the working jaws is wedge-shaped with the ability to contact each other with the pointed ends of the wedges in the plane of separation of the branches. Branches have an angle of information of 3-5 °. The wedge angle in the cross section is 60 °, the length of the working jaws is at least 10.5 mm.
The specified device does not provide sufficient capture of the lens nucleus throughout the thickness for its fragmentation, which leads to trauma to the surrounding tissues (iris, corneal endothelium), as well as to repeated manipulations in the anterior chamber of the eye.
EFFECT: reduction of operational and postoperative complications, reduction of trauma for surrounding tissues, reduction of operation time.
The technical result is achieved using tweezers for phakofragmentation of dense nuclei, containing two rigidly connected springy branches with working jaws at the ends, the lips are located to the branches at an obtuse angle, one of the sponges has one tooth and the other two teeth for the teeth of the opposite jaw to enter between them in the plane of separation of the branches. characterized in that one of the sponges has a tooth along the entire length of the sponge, and the other has two teeth along the entire length of the sponge.
The presence of a tooth along the entire length of the sponge on one jaw and two on the other, for the tooth of the opposite jaw to come in between, provides maximum capture of the lens nucleus along the entire length, which facilitates the fragmentation process, reduces the trauma of surrounding tissues, reduces the time of surgery, as well as operating and postoperative complications.

The proposed tweezers consists of two rigidly connected springy branches (1) with working jaws at the ends (2), the jaws are located to the jaws at an obtuse angle. One of the sponges has one tooth (3) along the entire length, the other has two teeth (4) along the entire length for the tooth of the opposite jaw to enter between them in the plane of breeding of the jaws. The proposed tweezers are used as follows:
