Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering and machine repair, in particular to the restoration and strengthening of paws of cultivators for various functional purposes.
[1].There is a known method for restoring cultivator paws with a pointed profile and their simultaneous hardening, which consists of forming a reserve of metal in the toe area along the entire length of the blade by surfacing with an electrode with a low-carbon rod having such a volume that allows restoration of the normalized paw profile by hot deformation and subsequent hardening heat treatment [1].
The disadvantages of the described method include: limited scope of application - only cultivator paws with a sufficiently long blade part and a relatively large volume (in the case of a short blade and a small volume of the product, significant heating of the entire part occurs, leading to both the loss of mechanical properties of the material and violation of the dimensions established by the technical specifications); the complexity of the technological process, which consists in carrying out at least four operations that require special equipment and sufficiently highly qualified performers. In addition, it is often necessary to deposit a large amount of metal, which also does not contribute to improving the quality of the paw in terms of wear resistance after restoration operations.
[2].In addition, there is a known method for strengthening the restoration of pointed tines of cultivators for various purposes, which is produced by welding a compensating plate that copies the worn part of the paw to the part of the paw suitable for restoration. The compensating plate has the size of the worn part of the paw, increased by 8-10 mm in the direction of movement of the paw, and is made of spring steel, heat-strengthened throughout its entire volume to a hardness of at least 50HRC. Welding is carried out on the back side with seams along the entire length of the wings, and on the side of the working surface - with seams 6-8 mm long in the middle part of each wing [2].
The disadvantages of this method are the difficulty of manufacturing a compensating plate, bending it and fitting it to a worn pointed foot before restoration, as well as its high cost.
The objective of the present invention is to increase the durability and wear resistance of the paw; restoration of its lost specified characteristics that meet agrotechnical requirements for soil cultivation operations; improving maintainability; ease of restoration, creation of conditions for repeated use of a worn part, reduction of drag.
The technical result consists in the proposed method for restoring the pointed tines of cultivators for various purposes and is achieved by welding two wear-compensating plates that copy and complement the wear areas.
The proposed method will reduce the drag resistance to the movement of the pointed cultivator share, increase the durability of the part due to repeated restoration and the use of compensating plates with the same or increased wear resistance.
Figure 1 shows a pointed cultivator paw with wear on its toe and wings. The method of restoring a worn pointed cultivator share 1 consists of applying two compensating plates with the same or increased wear resistance, followed by welding them to the outside of the worn pointed cultivator share. Moreover, welding is carried out on both sides, on the outside along line “a” with a continuous or intermittent seam, and on the back side along line “b” with a continuous or intermittent seam (Fig. 2, 3). In addition, at the junction of two compensating plates 2 (Fig. 2, zone “c”), a reinforcing weld is made, connecting the compensating plates 2 to each other and to the worn pointed cultivator paw 1. The weld is applied from the outside or from the outside and from the back.
To reduce the coefficient of friction of the pointed cultivator share on the soil, when welding the worn pointed cultivator share 1 with compensating plates 2, an enlarged roller W is formed along line “a” from the outside (Fig. 4). Due to the enlarged roller W, soil crumbling is increased, while the soil, after passing along the enlarged roller W, is thrown over the wings of the pointed cultivator paw, while the friction of the soil on the wings of the paw and, as a result, the drag resistance when moving in the soil are partially reduced.
The plates are made of steel with the same or increased wear resistance, for example, spring steel, steel 65G, steel 70G, etc.
After welding the compensating plates 2, they are sharpened with an angle α, in accordance with the requirements for the new pointed cultivator share. To increase wear resistance, after welding, heat treatment of the restored pointed cultivator share is performed.
1.During operation, the compensating plates 2 wear out. When the compensating plates 2 reach the limit of wear, they are cut off by any known method, and new compensating plates 2 are welded in their place, thus restoring the working condition of the pointed cultivator share 1.
The proposed method for restoring pointed cultivator shares will increase the durability of the part through repeated restoration and the use of compensating plates with the same or increased wear resistance.
