Abstract
Description
The invention relates to veterinary medicine and biology, in particular to morphology. A method has been developed for the manufacture of soft anatomical preparations of organs and tissues, in such a quality that makes it possible to study an object not only visually, but also manually. At the same time, soft pathological preparations made in this way are biologically and toxicologically safe.
The known method of plastinization of anatomical preparations (B.C. Pikalyuk, GA Moroz, SA Kutya Methodological manual for the manufacture of anatomical preparations. - Simferopol, 2004. - p. 26). The implementation of this method requires expensive equipment and materials. In the manufacture of pathological preparations in this way, formalin and acetone are used, they are extremely toxic. Manufacturing time is long, from one to several years. In this case, the preparation needs to be painted, since it becomes discolored when treated with acetone, and this is additional material costs.
A known method of manufacturing anatomical preparations using a polymer mixture (B.C. Pikalyuk, G.A. Moroz, S.A. Kutya Methodological manual for the manufacture of anatomical preparations. - Simferopol, 2004. - p. 25). In the manufacture of pathological preparations in this way, their color is not natural, and they are very hard to the touch, which removes them from naturalness and often have to be restored.
The known method of plastinization in which the impregnation is carried out with a polymer composition consisting of triglycidyl ether of polyoxypropylene triol, polyethylene polyamine [RU 2579238 C1, A01N 1/00 (2006.01). Method of plastination of anatomical preparations / Zinovieva E.G., Ivanov N.S., Efimov V.A. - 2015111469/13; declared 03/30/2015; published on 10.04.2016]. The disadvantage of this method is its high cost and inaccessibility of components.
A known method of making anatomical preparations of hollow organs using a universal waterproof glue based on an acrylic aqueous dispersion [RU 2 601 377 C1, G09B 23/28 (2006.01), G09B 23/30 (2006.01), A01N 1/02 (2006.01). A method of manufacturing an anatomical preparation of a hollow organ / Yakimov A.A., Kuzmichev M.E. - 2015143978/14; declared 10/13/2015; published on November 10, 2016]. This method does not allow the production of parenchymal organs, and also does not retain their natural color.
The objective of the invention is the development of a method for the manufacture of soft anatomical preparations that are highly visual, close to the natural color and shape of natural organs and tissues, are of great interest to their study, not only visually, but, which is very important, and manually. They are the most informative and have a long service life and, which is important, the least expensive.
The most optimal method for the manufacture of soft pathological anatomical preparations consists of three phases, it was established during the experiment.
For this, organs and tissues are used freshly extracted from the corpse of an animal. The blood is not removed. The color intensity of the finished soft anatomical preparation depends on its quantity.
In the manufacture of soft anatomical preparations, it is necessary, before fixation, to an organ, especially a hollow, or tissue to give a demonstration shape using cotton wool, gauze, wooden struts.
The first phase is fixation of an organ or tissue in a solution containing:
The volume of the liquid is 3 times the volume of the fixed drug. The drug is kept in this liquid until the tissues are evenly compacted and the blood stops being extracted into the solution.
The holding time ranges from several hours to 1 month. It depends on the size, density, structure of the organ. A prerequisite is that the air temperature does not exceed + 5 ° C and the exposure is long enough with the replacement of the solution with a new one every 5 days. The room in which the drug is fixed should be dark, or the containers should not be transparent.
It is not recommended to overexpose the drug in the fixing liquid, since hemoglobin with prolonged exposure to formalin turns into persistent acidic hematin, and in this case recovery with alcohol is not possible.
When fixation is complete, the drug is removed from the first solution and allowed to drain completely. Then the fixed material is transferred into 95% ethyl alcohol.
The second phase is color restoration in 95% ethyl alcohol.
The exposure in 95% ethyl alcohol is from several minutes to 3 hours, depending on the size and density of the organ and tissue. It is undesirable to overexpose the drug in alcohol, as its discoloration occurs.
After color recovery, the organs are transferred to containers with a preservative solution.
The third phase is immersion in a solution containing:
The solution must completely cover the organs and tissues. The exposition is from 2 to 4 months. This solution can be reused.
Anatomical preparations made in this way have significant advantages:
1. They are non-toxic, odorless and have no harmful effect on the human body.
2. Possess high visibility, close to the natural color and shape of natural organs and tissues.
3. It is important that the quality of the finished postmortem preparations makes it possible to study them not only visually, but also manually.
4. Stored outdoors, without the use of hermetically sealed containers.
5. The shelf life of such drugs is practically unlimited.
6. If necessary, after a few years, they can be renewed by keeping them for one week in a preservative solution, which is used in the third phase.
7. The method of manufacturing soft anatomical preparations is the least expensive, while using those substances that are not in short supply and are generally available.
