The invention relates to the field of production of building materials and can be used for the manufacture of products, small architectural forms of any configuration and size from decorative concrete, with glow properties in the dark for the entire period of operation.
A known method of obtaining a protective and decorative coating [RU patent for the invention No. 2093356 C1, Published: 10/20/1997]. The method includes surface preparation, applying a mechanized composition containing water glass with a density of 1.21 g / cm 3 and an inorganic filler selected from the group: technical zinc oxide for phosphors, boron oxide, magnesium oxide, iron oxide, vermiculite ore concentrate, serpentinite, talc in the following ratio of components, wt. %: liquid glass 40-60, and inorganic filler 40-60, and applying a layer of mica fraction 1-2 mm, followed by drying of the coating.
The disadvantage of this method is the low quality of the resulting coating, since the composition based on liquid glass has low adhesion to concrete.
Closest to the invention, the technical solution adopted for the prototype is a method for incorporating photoluminescent pigments into decorative concrete products [Patent RU for the invention No. 2668596, C1, Published: 02.10.2018 Bull. No. 28]. The method of introducing pigments into decorative concrete products consists in preliminarily preparing pigment powder and concrete mixture in the volume of the product. In this case, the pigment powder is poured into the mold at the rate of 30-50 g per 1 sq. M of the mold surface, into which the concrete mixture is then laid and the mold is vibrated, followed by packing the formed product in a waterproof material with an exposure time of at least 24 hours until the product solidifies completely. Moreover, a photoluminescent pigment is used as a pigment.
With the essential features of the prototype, the following combination of features of the invention coincides: a photoluminescent pigment powder is preliminarily prepared, the concrete mixture is placed in the mold, the mold is vibrated and the formed product is packaged in a waterproof material with a holding time of at least 24 hours until the product is completely cured, after which the product is removed from the mold and its surface is coated with acrylic-based impregnation.
The disadvantage of the prototype is that it is aimed at ensuring the glow of only the upper decorative layer, which does not allow to provide a glow for the entire period of operation of products from decorative concrete, since the upper decorative luminous layer under the influence of atmospheric precipitation is washed off in 1-2 years; a high concentration of photoluminescent pigment on the surface of the product (30-50 g per 1 sq. m) reduces the physical and mechanical characteristics of decorative concrete; it is not possible to use the known method in the manufacture of products with a decorative surface, molded in a vertical and any other positions, since the pigment will drain together with the concrete mixture.
The invention is directed to obtaining products from decorative concrete with photoluminescent pigment with the possibility of manufacturing products with a front surface, molded in any position and any configuration, with high architectural and decorative expressiveness in the daytime and ensuring a stable glow of the product in the dark during the whole period of time services without additional coverage and without reducing the physical and mechanical characteristics of concrete.
A method of manufacturing decorative concrete products with a photoluminescent pigment, which consists in preliminarily preparing a photoluminescent pigment powder and introducing it into the concrete mixture at the stage of dry mixing in the range up to 10% by weight of the cement, at the stage of wet mixing the polycarboxylate type additive is introduced, while water-cement ratio should not exceed 0.45. Then the concrete mixture is placed in the mold, the mold is vibrated, followed by packing the molded product in a waterproof material with a holding time of at least 24 hours in the mold, then the product is removed and kept for another 96 hours without exposure to atmospheric factors, after which its surface is coated with an impregnation based on acrylic. At the same time, the introduction of a photoluminescent pigment into the mixture does not impair the decorative properties of the product, evaluated in daylight, and the addition of the polycarboxylate type, in addition to providing a water-reducing effect, also has an intensifying effect on hydration processes, which leads to an accelerated growth of neoplasms on the surface of clinker particles and an increase in strength concrete due to the interaction of molecules with an increased electrostatic effect with hydrated cement particles, which, among other things, improves bonding particles of photoluminescent pigment.
1).To ensure increased architectural expressiveness of decorative concrete products in daylight, a mixture based on white Portland cement (CEM I 52.5 N) is used as a binder and marble aggregate, which allows to obtain products that in their structure maximize imitation of natural marble (Table 1 )
At the same time, the introduction of a photoluminescent pigment into the mixture does not impair the decorative properties of the product, evaluated in daylight.
2.To assess the effect of the quantitative content of the photoluminescent pigment in the composition of decorative concrete on the basic physical and mechanical characteristics of the products, concrete samples were made based on the composition shown in Table. 1. Only with such a ratio of fractions (Table 1) is an optimal packing of material particles achieved that provides high decorative properties and the required physical and mechanical characteristics of concrete with a relatively low consumption of binder and the use of photoluminescent pigment. The test results of concrete samples of control composition and compositions with different dosages of photo-luminescent pigment are presented in table. 2.
Compositions numbered 2 and 4, subject to a dosage of photoluminescent pigment up to 10% by weight of cement and subject to a W / C not exceeding 0.45, showed high results in strength and frost resistance.
ПримерExample
The claimed method made a pot of decorative concrete using photoluminescent pigment.
30.Pre-prepared powder of photoluminescent pigment in an amount of 30 kg Dry raw materials were mixed for 60 seconds until a homogeneous state in an amount of 1 m 3 : white Portland cement СЕМ I 52.5 N (ПЦБ 1-500 Д0) 415 kg, crushed marble. 0.2-0.5 196 kg, marble chips fr. 0.5-1.0 153 kg, marble chips fr. 1.5-2.0 153 kg, marble chips fr. 3.0-7.0 350 kg, marble crushed stone fr. 5.0-10.0 680 kg, marble crushed stone fr. 10.0-20.0 239 kg, in a planetary mixer, providing the necessary quality of distribution of raw materials. After dry mixing, a photoluminescent pigment was introduced into the mixture in the above dosage. After which the mixture was stirred for another 120 seconds and the mixing water was introduced, as well as the addition of a polycarboxylate type in an amount of 1.3 kg (0.3%), providing a water-cement ratio of 0.42 and the required mobility of the mixture, with the possibility to lay it in the form necessary configurations. After that, the mixture was placed in the form of a flowerpot and vibrated on a vibrating table. Then the product was kept in shape for 24 hours, and then for 96 hours under normal hardening conditions in order to provide a concrete pot with a residual moisture content not exceeding 6% and the required compressive strength corresponding to class B30.
In order to obtain improved decorative characteristics, as well as to enable the photoluminescent pigment to “work” in the product, the front surface of the flowerpot was ground to expose the aggregate and the appearance of the marble structure. Further, the surface was coated with acrylic-based impregnation, which increases the decorative expressiveness of the surface structure and provides a long-lasting protective effect of the surface for at least 5 years.
Thus, in the proposed method, the required technical result is achieved, which consists in the correct dosage of the photoluminescent pigment, ensuring its uniform distribution in decorative concrete products with a photoluminescent pigment and a glow in the mass of products, since the photoluminescent pigments are embedded throughout the volume of the products, and not applied to the surface and also obtained high decorative characteristics of products in daylight due to the use of concrete mix based on white Portland coagulant, as a binder, and the marble aggregates, surface grinding and processing acrylic lacquer with all exposure periods products prior to surface treatment.
