Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine and is intended for the treatment of postpartum endometritis in cows.
At present, diseases of the mammary gland and genitals, which significantly reduce their productivity, have become widespread in cows. Postpartum endometritis in cows occurs in 40-80% of cases.
Bac.subtilis.Despite the large number of antimicrobial agents used in gynecological diseases, the problem of therapy for diseases of the reproductive organs continues to be relevant. This is primarily due to the fact that with gynecological diseases, chemotherapeutic drugs are widely used, including antibiotics, which act not only on pathogenic, but also beneficial microflora. With prolonged use of chemotherapeutic drugs, the formation of antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria is possible, which is accompanied by a decrease in the therapeutic effect and an increase in the number of bacterial carriers among animals. Therefore, the development of new environmentally friendly drugs that have not only a pronounced antimicrobial, but also anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects, is very relevant. Probiotics based on Bac.subtilis can be attributed to drugs of this class.
The closest technical solution adopted for the prototype is a method of treating endometritis in cows with the probiotic preparation Vetomgin.
It is known that Vetomgin has a therapeutic effect in catarrhal and catarrhal-purulent endometritis. The drug is administered to the cow in the uterus 2 times a day. The optimal result was obtained when 2 suppositories were introduced into the uterus (1 suppository contains 10 16 CFU (colony forming units) of live probiotic strains of bacteria of the genus Bacillus). In experimental cows, when Vetomgin was administered 2 times a day, recovery occurred 1-2 days faster than in analogues from the control [G.A. Nozdrin Comparative evaluation of the therapeutic effectiveness of Vetomgina in various doses for endometritis / G.A. Nozdrin, A.I. Lelyak, A.G. Nozdrin, Yu.E. Primakova // Materials of the 2nd scientific-practical. conf. Fak. vet. honey. NSAU. - Novosibirsk, 1999. - S. 40]. This technique is selected as a prototype.
However, in this method of treating postpartum endometritis in cows, therapeutic efficacy is not high enough.
The technical result of the invention is to increase the therapeutic effectiveness of the treatment of postpartum endometritis in cows.
The technical result is achieved by the method of complex treatment of postpartum endometritis in cows, providing for intramuscular administration of a non-specific stimulating therapy in combination with an etiotropic drug.
A method for treating postpartum endometritis in cows involves the combined use of the Vetomgin probiotic preparation in conjunction with the non-specific stimulating therapy phytobiotic Erakond, while two Vetomgin suppositories are administered intravenously vaginally to the sick cows on the first day after delivery, after 4 hours, 24 hours later hours, the treatment procedure with this drug is repeated, at the same time on the 1st and 7th days from the start of treatment of cows with the Vetomgin drug, a 4% solution of Erakonda on physiological saline in a dose is administered 20 ml intramuscularly.
- С. 216-218].According to the invention, the probiotic preparation "Vetomgin" is used as an etiotropic preparation, and the phytobiotic "Herakond" as a means of nonspecific general stimulating therapy. It has been established that various concentrations of Erakonda aqueous solutions have no therapeutic effect on cows with postpartum endometritis [Borisova T.V. The effectiveness of "Heraconda" in mastitis and endometritis in cows. // Materials of the All-Russian Scientific and Educational Conference on Obstetrics, Gynecology and Biotechnology of Animal Reproduction. - Voronezh, 1994. - S. 216-218].

A causal relationship between the distinguishing features of the invention is the combined use of Vetomgin and Erakond preparations and the technical result is an increase in the therapeutic effectiveness of treating postpartum endometritis in cows as follows.
Due to the vital activity of three strains of bacteria of the genus Bacillus and the development of specific antibiotics and bioactive substances by them, Vetomgin suppresses inflammatory processes in the reproductive organs, promotes disinfection, rapid healing and regeneration of the mucous membranes, protects the integument from the penetration of microbes, enhances the phagocytic properties of the blood, and models the local immunity. The drug "Herakond" has a pronounced modulating effect on all parts of the immune system, is well combined with other drugs, does not cause side effects and has no contraindications. However, it is known that Erakond does not have an independent therapeutic effect on cows with postpartum endometritis. In the aggregate, the combined use of these two drugs gives an ultimately total effect, significantly increasing the therapeutic effectiveness of treating postpartum endometritis in cows. The lack of therapeutic effect from the independent use of "Eraconda" in the treatment of endometritis and the increase in the effectiveness of the treatment of this disease with "Vetomgin" when combined with "Eraconds" proves the non-obviousness of this technical solution.
№13-5-2/2057].Testing the effectiveness of the treatment method was carried out on cows of the Educational Scientific and Technological Livestock Center (UNTZhTs) of the Academy of Bioresources and Nature Management of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution Higher Educational Institution named after KFU IN AND. Vernadsky. " The diagnosis of endometritis was established in accordance with the "Methodological guidelines for the diagnosis, therapy and prevention of diseases of the reproductive organs in cows and heifers" [Methodical instructions for the diagnosis, therapy and prevention of diseases of the reproductive organs in cows and heifers. Approved by the Deputy Head of the Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on 04/04/2000 No. 13-5-2 / 2057].
The essence of the technical solution is illustrated by an example.
Клинические испытания заявляемого способа проведены на 30 больных животных через сутки после отела, разделенных по принципу аналогов на 3 группы (по 10 животных в каждой).Evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment was carried out by taking into account the number of recovered animals. Clinical trials of the proposed method were carried out on 30 sick animals a day after calving, divided by the principle of analogues into 3 groups (10 animals each).
Cows of the first and second groups intrauterine (vaginally) on the first day were injected with two Vetomgina suppositories with an interval of 4 hours, after 24 hours the treatment procedure was repeated.
In addition to the Vetomgin preparation, on the 1st and 7th days from the beginning of treatment of the cows, the animals of the first group were injected intramuscularly with a dose of 20 ml of a 4% solution of Erakonda in physiological saline. Cows of the third group on the 1st and 7th days from the start of treatment of all animals were injected intramuscularly in a dose of 20 ml only 4% solution of "Herakonda" in physiological saline. Animals were monitored for 10 days from the start of treatment.
The research results are presented in the table.
As can be seen from the data presented (table), the greatest therapeutic efficacy in postpartum endometritis of cows was shown by a complex treatment method involving the introduction of a nonspecific general stimulating therapy in combination with an etiotropic drug (group 1). It was found that the number of recovered animals in group 1 was more than in group 2, by 20%. For animals of group 3, the therapeutic effectiveness of the use of the drug "Erakond" as a treatment for postpartum endometritis is zero.
The invention solves the problem of increasing the therapeutic effectiveness of treating cows with postpartum endometritis - increasing the number of recovered animals.
