Description

The invention relates to small arms (rifles, machine guns, machine guns), and in particular to stocks specially designed to reduce recoil, and can be used to improve the tactical and technical data of the weapon and its combat capabilities.

Improving the stocks as one of the main parts of small arms is one of the most promising and most rational directions for increasing the combat effectiveness of the small arms complex.

Extinguishing the recoil when shooting in the butt can be done in different ways. Known designs in which this is carried out using elastic elements (US patent No. 3707797), shock absorbing pads (US patent No. 4683671), friction brakes (US patent No. 3754344), articulated mechanisms in combination with springs (US patent No. 3795998).

Also known is the construction of a stock for a firearm, which is a housing connected to the receiver, inside which there is a shock-absorbing device. The case is made in the form of a metal bracket reinforced with rubber. The shock-absorbing device is a spring element, one end of which is rigidly fixed in the receiver, and the other is equipped with a roller interacting with the rear inner wall of the bracket. The bracket is mounted in the receiver on the axis and has the ability to rotate relative to it (patent RU 2168144).

Weapons with such butts are of low efficiency and are quite difficult constructively.

Closest to the invention is the design of the butt of automatic small arms of modern production AK74, AKS74 (5.45 mm Kalashnikov assault rifle (AK74, AKS74, AK74N, AKS74N) and 5.45 mm Kalashnikov light machine gun (RPK74, RPKS74, RPK74N, RPKS74N) , under the supervision of N.I. Naydin, publ. No. 5/8677 chipboard, 1982, Fig. 33).

The stock of such weapons, as a rule, has a sling for the belt, a slot for the accessory case and a butt plate with a cover over the socket. A spring for pushing out the pencil case is reinforced in the butt socket. The permanent butt of the machine can be wooden or plastic.

The disadvantage of such stocks is that their weight is constant and weapons that are effective in combat (defensive) order are ineffective in marching order, and vice versa - due to the weight of the stock.

The wooden stock of small arms is heavier in weight than the plastic, and expensive to manufacture. However, along with the inconvenience of operating in a marching order - in combat (defensive) order, it has an advantage over a lightweight plastic butt in that when firing, the return of small arms also depends on the weight of the stock, the higher the weight, the lower the return.

The recoil action of a weapon is characterized by the magnitude of the speed and energy that it possesses when moving backward.

The rate of return of a weapon is approximately so many times less than the initial velocity of a bullet, and how many times a bullet is lighter than a weapon.

The pressure force of the powder gases (recoil force) and the resistance force of the recoil (buttstock stop, handles, center of gravity of the weapon, etc.) are not located on one straight line and are directed in opposite directions. They form a pair of forces, under the influence of which the muzzle of the barrel of the weapon deviates upward. The deviation of the muzzle of the barrel of a given weapon is greater, the larger the shoulder of this pair.

In addition, when fired, the barrel of the weapon, oscillating, vibrates. As a result of vibration, the muzzle of the barrel at the time of departure of the bullet can also deviate from its original position in any direction (up, down, right, left).

This design does not take into account the features of automatic firing and does not contribute to damping the fluctuations of the shooter-weapon system during automatic firing.

The aim of the invention is to improve the design of the stock for convenient operation in the marching and combat (defensive) order of small arms, damping the recoil of the weapon when firing, improving the tactical characteristics of the weapon, making the weapon buoyant on water, creating a stationary magazine for cartridges, simplicity and low cost in manufacturing.

The goal of the invention is achieved by the device of a unified hollow butt made of plastic having an internal cavity for pouring liquid (for example, water) or filling bulk materials (for example sand). Small arms with such a stock are more practical in marching order due to light weight, and in combat (defensive) order the stock is heavier by pouring liquid or backfilling sand materials, which are improvised. In addition, the proposed hollow butt with an arranged internal cavity can serve as a container for transferring the fighter's food supply: water, cereals and other liquid or bulk products.

Also in the body of the hollow plastic butt can be arranged stationary box magazine for cartridges containing a feeder with an ejection spring. To increase the capacity of the store, the ejector spring of the feeder is made of strip steel of rectangular cross section in the form of a conical accordion, the turns of which are elliptical in shape with two, three or more different areas and are located in such a way that two, three or more adjacent windings are not identical in a compressed state stacked on the same plane, one inside the other, and the coils of the entire spring during compression are stacked in the horizontal and vertical planes in two, three or more rows. Moreover, a stationary magazine with cartridges is located at the top of the butt and has a bulk density greater than the weight of the substance with which the hollow butt is filled.

The device magazine for cartridges in the butt of small arms is known in the technical field, however, in this invention it is used additionally for both weighting weapons and for storing cartridges for various purposes.

Thus, the butt is additionally heavier with a shift in the center of gravity of the weapon, and accordingly, reducing the shoulder of a pair of forces: recoil and recoil resistance forces, which helps to reduce the deflection of the weapon upwards when firing.

The butt weighted in this way in combat use reduces the recoil of the weapon during firing, which positively affects its tactical and technical data.

At the same time, the tremors of the weapon relative to the shooter's shoulder are significantly reduced, which increases the accuracy and accuracy of fire, especially in automatic mode.

Technical solutions with features distinguishing the claimed solution from the prototype are not known and do not follow explicitly from the prior art. This allows us to consider that the claimed solution is new and has an inventive step.

Small arms work with the proposed butt as follows: before conducting a defensive battle, liquid is poured into the cavity of the hollow butt of the small arms through the filler hole and closed with a filler plug. In addition, a box magazine for ammunition is arranged in the small arms butt. Thus, the butt of small arms becomes heavier and, as a result of shooting, the recoil energy of the weapon is absorbed and the recoil of the weapon to the shooter decreases, which positively affects the shooting parameters. As you conduct an offensive battle through the drain hole - by opening the drain plug, the liquid drains and the weapon becomes lightened, which becomes convenient for its operation.

The proposed hollow plastic butt is simple and cheap to manufacture, reliable in operation, which determines the combat effectiveness of small arms. In addition, the use in the manufacture of plastic allows you to replace expensive and scarce wood.

Moreover, the design is applicable to existing weapons.

The practical implementation of the proposed hollow plastic butt of small arms is not in doubt, as it is based on the use of well-known materials, devices and technical solutions.
