Abstract
Description
Method for the production of staple nanofine mineral fiber and equipment for its manufacture.
The invention relates to the production of staple mineral fibers, in particular to the design of a nozzle apparatus with a roller exhaust mechanism and a pressure bar, and can be used in enterprises engaged in the production of staple mineral fibers. The present invention makes it possible to obtain nanofibers with subsequent implementation in the field of nanotechnology for the manufacture of paper-like composite filter materials for ultrafine cleaning of filtered media.
Closest to the proposed method is a method for producing microfine fibers from glass (AS USSR No. 528270 dated 03/27/74.) Using a combustion chamber to obtain staple micro- and ultrafine fibers from inorganic melts with two nozzle apparatuses, the upper parts of which are fixed rigidly, and the lower parts are able to move vertically.
This design cannot provide nanofine fibers, since at an increased pressure in the combustion chamber the shifting lower part of the nozzle apparatus does not provide a snug fit to the nozzle apparatus flange and, when the gasket burns out, hot gases burst around its lower part. Also, the design does not provide an accurate hit of the primary fiber at the beginning of the formation of a stoichiometric cone for the most efficient use of energy.
4).The purpose of the invention — the production of nanofine fibers (with a diameter of about 100 nm) —is achieved by the fact that one
4).In order to more accurately hit the primary fiber 1 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4) at the beginning of the stoichiometric cone 9 (Fig. 3, Fig. 4), for maximum blowing, the pressure bar 7 (Fig. 2, Fig. . 3, Fig. 4) is installed with the possibility of adjusting it by the height of the clamp of the primary threads and adjusting the width of the slit of the fiber conductor 8 (Fig. 3, Fig. 4) before the energy flow 2 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4).
4).To eliminate the bending of the primary fiber 1 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4) at the entrance to the high-speed flow of energy carrier 2 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4), while reducing the diameter of this fiber, the rotation speed is used rolls of the exhaust mechanism 6 (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3). A decrease in the revolutions of the rolls leads to a decrease in the feed rate of the primary fibers 1 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4) and an increase in their diameter, and, consequently, the ability of the primary fibers to bend at the entrance to the energy carrier stream 2 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4).
With the possibility of increasing the pressure in the combustion chamber 13 (Fig. 1, Fig. 2), this design of the nozzle apparatus 19 (Fig. 1) with a height-adjustable clamping bar 7 (Fig. 2, Fig. 3, Fig. 4), is adjustable the width of the slit of the fiber conductor 8 (Fig. 3, Fig. 4) and the frequency drive of the rolls of the exhaust mechanism 6 (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3) allows you to apply a dense layout of the primary fibers on the upper 12 (Fig. 1) and lower 11 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3) distribution combs (pitch - 1.25 mm) to increase the productivity of the process.
The production of mineral nanofibers is carried out in the following way.
A multi-fiber glass melting vessel 15 (Fig. 1) is loaded with balls or erklesis of an inorganic melt, where the melt, emerging through the spinnerets, is pulled by an exhaust roll mechanism 6 (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3) into the primary fiber 1 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4). The primary fiber exiting the roll mechanism, pressed by the clamping strip 7 (Fig. 2, Fig. 3, Fig. 4) of the slit of the fiber conductor 8 (Fig. 3, Fig. 4), enters the stoichiometric cone 9 (Fig. 3, Fig. 4) a high-speed flow of energy carrier 2 (Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4) emerging from the nozzle apparatus 19 (Fig. 1), consisting of the upper 3 (Fig. 2, Fig. 3 Fig. 4) and the lower 4 (Fig. 2 Fig. 3, Fig. 4) parts and in advance, when assembling the nozzle apparatus, set by a gap 20 (Fig. 2), where it is inflated and stretched in a high-speed flow of energy carrier 2 (Fig. 1). Further, staple nanofibers enter the fiber deposition chamber 16 (Fig. 1) and onto the receiving conveyor. Combustion products through a mesh conveyor are exhausted into the atmosphere.
