The specified technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of treating knee arthritis by means of finger acupressure of points IV.9, XI.34, VII.60, III.36 in the amount of 7 sessions before treatment, the percentage of lymphocytes in the blood is determined and if their value is higher 35% simultaneously carry out a 10-day course of treatment with acyclovir at a dose of 400 mg 4 times a day.

The method is developed on the basis of treatment results for 20 patients with knee arthritis who received only acupressure therapy and 30 patients with knee arthritis who underwent combination therapy simultaneously with the course of treatment with finger acupressure, 7 acupressure sessions were performed at points IV.9, XI.34, VII.60, III.36 and a 10-day course of treatment with acyclovir at a dose of 400 mg 4 times a day.

An indicator of 35% of lymphocytes is the most common upper level of their values in 30 healthy men aged 18 to 60 years examined by us as a control.
