SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, namely, to construction of new and reconstruction of existing roofs of residential buildings and structures with a metal sloped roof. A snow-retention device represents a latticed structure installed on the vertical wall of the chute.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof and its durability; the roof is equipped with a device for removal of ice and snow from a lower part of the roof and a device that prevents potential avalanche-like collapse of snow and ice from a slope of a metal roof.

Description

The invention relates to the field of construction, namely the construction of new and reconstruction of existing roofs of residential buildings, buildings and structures with a metal roof.
There are known sloping roofs of houses, buildings and structures, consisting of a rafter system, a strapping and a metal roof placed on it (see, for example, the book: L. Zineeva, “A Handbook of a Civil Engineer.” Phoenix, 2009), which includes a ramp, a gutter, a descent and a fence. In the cold season, removal of ice and snow from the roof is carried out mechanically using manual labor.
The disadvantage of the roof is the need for periodic cleaning of its surface from ice and snow.
The prototype is a well-known sloping roof with a device for removing ice and snow (see RU 2392398 C1 “Device for removing snow and ice from the eaves of a roof”), consisting of a rafter system, a strapping and a metal roof placed on it, which includes ramp, gutter, descent and enclosing structure. The device for removing ice and snow from the roof is a rigid roof descent specially made for these purposes, in which a heating electric cable is mounted. Above this device for removing ice and snow, there is a gutter, behind the vertical wall of which ice, snow and melt water collects.
A disadvantage of the design of this roof is the possible descent from its surface of snow avalanches formed on the roof above the vertical wall of the gutter.
The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of use of the device for removing ice and snow and the creation of conditions to prevent the possible descent from the roof of avalanches.
This goal is achieved in that the roof, including the rafter system, the harness and a metal roof placed on it, which includes a slope, a gutter, a descent, as well as a device for removing ice and snow from the bottom of the roof, a waterproof gutter wall rising above the roof surface it is additionally equipped with a snow-holding device installed on top of it, that is, on both sides of the waterproof wall and towering above it, with culverts located above the waterproof wall forehead. The snow-holding device is a rod system, including rods located on the outer side of the gutter wall and combining their connection, having a cantilever part protruding beyond the inner side of the gutter wall, the end of which is lowered downward, into the gutter. The gutter wall rising above the roof and the bottom of the snow retention device are reinforced with monolithic fasteners, which firmly connect the outer side of the gutter wall and the bottom of the snow retention device with the roof lowering surface located below.
The placement in the lower part of the roof of various devices designed to remove ice and snow does not solve the problems associated with the need for periodic cleaning of the roof from snow and ice that accumulated above the gutter on a slope of a metal roof. This is caused by the fact that when filling the gutter with melt water, the accumulated snow and the underlying ice can overcome the vertical wall of the gutter that holds them on the roof and fall down from the roof. To prevent this from happening, it is proposed to build up the vertical wall of the gutter with a grating device that holds snow and ice, but freely passes through the top of the gutter wall the water formed from the melting of ice and snow. The snow retention device consists of sections mounted on top of the vertical wall of the gutter. The use of a snow-holding device in combination with a device for removing ice and snow located at the bottom of the roof completely eliminates the need for mechanical cleaning of the roof from snow. To fix the snow-holding device and increase the rigidity of the vertical wall of the gutter, hardening polymeric materials are used, for example, foam, polyurethane foam, etc., which connect the surface of the metal roof slope with the outer surface of the vertical wall of the gutter and with the lower part of the snow-holding device. When using foam or polyurethane foam, their surface must be protected from exposure to ultraviolet rays, for example, by applying various mastics or paints on top. A device for removing ice and snow can be made of sheet material, including steel or a polymer film, with a closed loop located below, into which, to increase the heating efficiency, a hollow perforated element and a heating electric cable can be built in.
The proposed roof is presented in the drawings:

4 is a fragment of a snow retention device.
The roof includes the rafter system 1, the harness 2 and the metal roof placed on it, consisting of a slope 3, a chute 4, a slope 5 and a fence 6. From the bottom, the chimney 3 rests on a crutch 7, and the chute 4 is fixed on the slope 3 by a hook 8. On a vertical waterproof a snow retention device 10 is installed on the wall 9 of the gutter 4, including rods 11 with a link 12 connecting them, having a cantilever portion lowered behind the inner side of the wall 9 of the gutter 4. Between the rods 11, culverts 13 are formed, as a rule about, limited by the connection 14. The vertical wall 9 of the gutter 4 is connected to the trigger 3 by monolithic fasteners 15, firmly connecting the outer side of the wall 9 of the gutter 4 and the bottom of the rods 11 of the snow-holding device 10 with the roof surface 3.
In the lower part of the roof, on the downhill 3, there is a device 16 made of reinforced polymer material for removing ice and snow, having a closed loop 17, in which a hollow perforated element 18 is placed, which provides an air gap 19 with the inner surface of the closed loop 17. Inside the closed loop 17, a heating electric cable 20 is placed, which can be placed, as an option, inside or outside the perforated hollow element 18.
In winter, a snow cover forms on the roof, which, under the influence of the attic heat from below, thaws and drains into the gutter 4 as water. The gutter 4, usually clogged with ice and snow, overflows with water, which overflows through the vertical wall 9 to the device 16 for removing ice and snow made of sheet material (roofing iron, polymer film-membrane, etc.), and falls from the roof in the form of water or small ice floes. Snow and ice located above the gutter 4, on the ramp 5, is delayed on the roof by the device 10, where it subsequently melts. The shear load and the overturning moment from the influence of ice and snow on the device 10, through the rods 11 and the coupling 12 connecting them, are transmitted to the vertical wall 9 of the groove 4, which is reinforced with a monolithic fastener 15.
The joint use of the device 16 for removing ice and snow with snow retention device 10 can completely eliminate the mechanical cleaning of the roof from snow and ice in the winter season.

Claims (3)

1. The roof, including the rafter system, the harness and the metal roof placed on it, which includes a slope, a gutter, a descent, as well as a device for removing ice and snow from the bottom of the roof, characterized in that the gutter wall rises above the roof surface it is additionally equipped with a snow-holding device mounted on top of it, that is, on both sides of the waterproof wall and towering above it, with culvert gaps located above the waterproof wall of the gutter.

The roof according to claim 1, characterized in that the snow retention device is a rod system comprising rods located on the outer side of the gutter wall and combining their connection, with a cantilever portion protruding beyond the inner side of the gutter wall, the end of which is lowered downward, into the gutter.
3. The roof according to claim 1, characterized in that the gutter wall rising above the roof and the bottom of the snow retention device are reinforced with monolithic fasteners that firmly connect the outer side of the gutter wall and the bottom of the snow retention device with the roof lowering surface located below.
