Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the purification of light hydrocarbon fractions containing acidic components without the use of hydrogen, and can be used in the refining, petrochemical and other industries to produce hydrocarbons with a low content of acidic components.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION is as follows:
A known method of purification of oil fractions containing sulfur compounds, without the use of hydrogen by contacting them with a solution of alkali / Bekirov T.M. Primary processing of natural gases. M. Chemistry, 1987 p.115 / The method allows to obtain light oil and gas condensate distillates, as well as liquefied natural gases with a content of hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans less than 0.0005%. This is the cheapest way to clean sulphurous distillates. The disadvantage of this process is the formation of toxic sulfur-alkaline effluents, the presence of which in the effluents is limited to 0.0001%, which requires large expenditures on environmental measures.
There is a method of improving the quality of petroleum distillates without the use of hydrogen by using solutions of alkanolamines (US Patent No. 2031632). The method allows to extract hydrogen sulfide and part of mercaptans from hydrocarbon fractions, and complete recovery of the recovered sulfur compounds occurs. However, all sulfur compounds, in particular mercaptans, sulfides and carbonyl sulfides, are not removed by this method and the required cleaning depth cannot be achieved.
A known method of using alkaline solutions for the purification of oil fractions from mercaptans and other sulfur compounds with alkali recovery MEROX. US patent 4705620. Removal of sulfur compounds from the hydrocarbon fraction occurs by absorption of 10-20% alkali solution. Hydrocarbon fractions are cleaned with minimal environmental impact. The disadvantages of this process are: a) the complexity of the hardware design of the process and the relatively high costs in the case of a high content of sulfur compounds, b) the problems of marketing mercaptan oxidation products, c) the need for expensive purification of water from accumulating oxidation products of sulfur compounds, the presence of effluents.
A known method of using a solution of alkanolamines and alkaline solutions for the purification of oil fractions from mercaptans and other sulfur compounds with the regeneration of a solution of monoethanolamine (MEA), proposed by Dow Chemical Company and described in US patent No. 4808765. The process is carried out in several stages. In the first stage, the fraction to be purified in the absorption column is contacted with an aqueous solution of alkanolamine and freed from hydrogen sulfide and some other sulfur compounds, such as carbonyl sulfide and mercaptans. In the second stage, the hydrocarbon stream purified by a solution of alkanolamines is contacted with an alkali solution in an absorption column and is purified from a significant part of RSH mercaptans (R - methyl, ethyl, propyl, etc.) and COS carbonyl sulfide. In the third stage, the hydrocarbon stream purified in the previous stages is contacted with an alkali solution in a multi-stage contactor to completely remove mercaptans and carbonyl sulfide and is disposed of. The content of sulfur compounds as a result of a three-stage purification is less than 100 ppb. The disadvantages of this process are high operating costs, high metal consumption due to the use of absorption columns and the lack of disposal of the spent alkali solution containing sulfur compounds, leading to environmental pollution.
The closest in technical essence and the achieved result is the method of purification of hydrocarbon fractions, proposed by OJSC "Organic Synthesis", Kazan and described in RF patent No. 2240858. The advantages of this method are:
- низкие эксплуатационные затраты и низкая металлоемкость,- low operating costs and low metal consumption,
- процесс очистки производится в одну стадию- the cleaning process is carried out in one stage
The cleaning process is carried out in one stage in a column type absorber by extraction of impurities in the gas with an absorbent. The purified gas is disposed of. The absorbent saturated with impurities enters the regenerator and is freed of impurities at an elevated temperature, then the absorbent is cooled and returned to the absorption process. An alkanolamine solution modified by the additive is used as an absorbent. To improve the absorption capacity of alkanolamine, the bottom residue of the triethanolamine rectification process is used as an additive. Absorbent for gas purification contains monoethanolamine, triethanolamine, bottoms of the rectification process. The addition of 0.5% of the bottom distillation residue allows the gas to be purified from CO 2 with a residual impurity content of 0.007%, the degree of purification is 99%. The method allows to remove easily removable compounds from gases, such as carbon dioxide. The disadvantage of this method is the low efficiency of the gas purification process with respect to hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, carbonyl sulfide and carbon disulfide, the inability to extract hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, carbon disulfide due to the low absorption activity with respect to these components, the removal of which is possible in the case of low saturation of the absorbent with impurities.
The essence of the alleged invention is as follows:
The invention is aimed at solving the problem of increasing the efficiency of the gas purification process from difficult to remove impurities, such as hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, carbonyl sulfide and carbon disulfide without increasing the hardware intensity of hardware design, reducing environmental pollution by sulfur-alkaline effluents.
The solution to this problem is mediated by a new technical result, which consists in increasing the absorption capacity of the absorbent with respect to hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, carbonyl sulfide and carbon disulfide
At the same time: the process takes place in one stage, operating costs do not increase, metal consumption does not increase, the technological scheme is not complicated, since additional alkaline cleaning is not required to increase the degree of purification from hydrogen sulfide and to extract mercaptans, and environmental pollution is eliminated. The method allows the purification of hydrocarbon gases containing a significant amount of sulfur compounds.
This technical result is achieved by the fact that a new additive is used and the method of supplying the absorbent to the absorption column is changed, the absorbent is fed into the column in two streams. As an additive that improves the absorption properties of the monoethanolamine solution, sodium hydroxide is used in an amount of 0.005-1% of the mass of the solution. The additive allows efficient extraction of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from the gas to be purified, with a degree of recovery of 99.9%; mercaptans, carbonyl sulfide and carbon disulfide with a recovery of at least 95%. The addition of sodium hydroxide increases the alkalinity of the amine solution, moreover, sodium hydroxide during regeneration of the absorbent by heating in the stripper in the presence of carbon dioxide is restored and circulates together with the amine solution.
At the absorption stage, sodium hydroxide reacts with carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, carbonyl sulfide and carbon disulfide to form sodium carbonate, sodium sulfide and sodium mercaptide:
2NaOH+CO2=Na2CO3+H2O2NaOH + CO 2 = Na 2 CO 3 + H 2 O
2NaOH+H2S=Na2S+2H2O.2NaOH + H 2 S = Na 2 S + 2H 2 O.
2NaOH+COS=Na2CO3+H2S2NaOH + COS = Na 2 CO 3 + H 2 S
2NaOH+H2O+CS2=2Na2CO3+2H2S2NaOH + H 2 O + CS 2 = 2Na 2 CO 3 + 2H 2 S
NaOH+RSH=NaSR+H2ONaOH + RSH = NaSR + H 2 O
The absorption takes place in a column, in the lower part of which a stream of light hydrocarbons in gas or liquefied form is supplied. The alkanolamine solution with the addition to the column is supplied in two streams: the first stream to the top of the column, the second stream to the middle of the column. A saturated alkanolamine solution is removed from the column in two streams. The upper part of the solution is discharged from the middle of the column; the solution supplied to the middle of the column is discharged from the bottom of the column. Further, these two streams are combined before regeneration. The hydrocarbon stream with a high content of sulfur compounds is in contact with the second stream of alkanolamine solution and most of the sulfur compounds is removed from it, then moving up the column in the upper part of the column is in contact with the first stream of alkanolamine solution and the remaining sulfur compounds are removed from it.
At the stage of regeneration at a temperature of more than 100 ° C in a boiling aqueous solution, sodium sulfide and sodium mercaptide react with carbon dioxide:
Na2S+CO2+H2O=Na2CO3+N2S,Na 2 S + CO 2 + H 2 O = Na 2 CO 3 + N 2 S,
2NaSR+CO2+H2O=Na2CO3+2RSH2NaSR + CO 2 + H 2 O = Na2CO3 + 2RSH
Next, the sodium carbonate solution is hydrolyzed:
Na2CO3+H2O=NaHCO3+NaOHNa 2 CO 3 + H 2 O = NaHCO 3 + NaOH
NaHCO3+H2O=NaOH+Н2О+CO2 NaHCO 3 + H 2 O = NaOH + H 2 O + CO 2
Hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans and carbon dioxide leave the boiling solution, and sodium hydroxide together with the amine solution are returned to the absorption stage.

Содержание сероводорода после очистки 0,0001%, меркаптанов 0,004 (табл.1)The flows of the amine solution from the middle of the column and the bottom of the column are mixed and fed into the separator to separate the hydrocarbon phase, then after the separator and heat exchangers the stream of the amine solution enters the stripper, where it is additionally heated to 118-120 ° С in the riboiler, in the stripper of water vapor with hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans and carbon dioxide through the upper part of the absorber enter the separator to separate the vapor phase from the liquid phase. The gaseous products of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from the separator are sent for disposal to a sulfuric acid production unit, the condensed water partly goes back to the column as an irrigation, partly to dilute the MEA solution. The content of hydrogen sulfide after purification of 0.0001%, mercaptans 0.004 (table 1)
