Abstract
Description
The invention relates to veterinary medicine and biology and can be used to increase the safety of the livestock and to align large litters to beating by live weight due to the maximum production of pigs, including hypotrophic, immunoglobulins G (IgG) with colostrum.
A known method of reducing the death of piglets, suckers, based on the technological method of increasing the milk productivity of sows by active manual massage of the mammary gland [1]. However, this method involves manual massage of the mammary gland by stroking and rubbing the udder of the animals with hands, which is unacceptable due to the structural features of the multiple mammary gland, the physiology of lactation in pigs and the nature of sucking piglets and requires significantly more pronounced mechanical effects on the organ. In addition, the time chosen for the massage from the 4th to the 32nd day after farrowing corresponds to the milk period of feeding the piglets, and not the colostrum, and therefore the effectiveness of the method is achieved not by increasing the immunity of the piglets, but by increasing their live weight.
п.Known methods for the treatment of hypotrophy of suckling piglets, providing in one case the use of various agents containing potassium succinic acid in combination with riboflavin [2], in another - injection of glucose-citrated blood of healthy animals [3]. However, the methods are laborious and require the cost of drugs, syringes, etc.
In large pig-breeding complexes, the veterinarians are faced with the problem of preventing hypotrophy of piglets, which can be solved at the lowest cost by using natural biological mechanisms of mother-newborn communication, obtaining the maximum amount of IgG from sows colostrum by piglets in the first hours after farrowing. Studies to increase the release of IgG from pig blood into colostrum using manual massage of the mammary gland have not yet been conducted.
The objective of the invention is to increase the release of IgG from pig blood into colostrum by massage of the breast in the first hours after farrowing in order to prevent hypotrophy of piglets.
The technical result is achieved by conducting sows breast massage six, nine, 18 hours after farrowing, 10 minutes before sucking pigs colostrum. Massage reflexively activates the flow of arterial blood to the alveoli [4, 5], thereby initiating the production of colostrum components in lactocytes, increasing the permeability of the lactohematic barrier to IgG from blood plasma.
In order to accomplish the task, six experimental and one control group of three sows are formed - the analogues of a large white breed in each with 6-8 suckling pigs. To prevent hypotrophy of piglets, 10 minutes before they suck colostrum, sows in the experimental groups are once a massage of the breast, respectively, an hour, three, six, nine, 18 and 27 hours after farrowing. The sows of the control group are not given massage.
Suckling piglets are weighed before and after sucking to determine the volume of sucked colostrum. Assess the safety of sucking piglets in the first day after farrowing.
Полученные цифровые данные взвешивания и результатов физиологических исследований статистически обрабатывают с использованием программы «Microsoft Excel».In samples of serum and colostrum of pigs taken at the same hours before and after massage, on a multiscan labsystems spectrophotometer (Finland) by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using reagent kits: for IgG - "Immunoscreen-G - IFA-BEST" determine the concentration of IgG [ 6] to assess the effectiveness of the effect of preventive massage of the mammary gland of sows in the first, third, sixth, ninth, 18 and 27 hours after farrowing on the intensity of IgG release from blood into colostrum. The obtained digital weighing data and the results of physiological studies are statistically processed using the Microsoft Excel program.
Затем в течение шести - семи минут из расчета по минуте на каждый молочной холм тремя пальцами (указательным, средним и безымянным) обеих рук, имитируя пятачок поросенка, массируют с усилением от периферии молочного холма к центру (соску).To carry out massage of the multiple mammary gland, the sow is placed on the left side, after “scratching” it. Massage is performed in two stages: initially, with one “warmed” palms, within one minute, they are carried out with force in the cranio-caudal direction along the first three to four pairs of breast milk hills and, similarly, for one minute in the caudo-cranial direction along the three four pairs of inguinal hills. Then, for six to seven minutes, based on the minute for each milk hill, three fingers (index, middle and ring) of both hands, imitating a piglet's piglet, are massaged with amplification from the periphery of the milk hill to the center (nipple).
2.The research results are presented in tables 1 and 2.
In the experiment in the control group, one hour after farrowing, it was found that the volume of colostrum sucked by the piglet was 46.92 ml on average, and the IgG concentration was 0.45 mg / ml, and therefore the amount of IgG received by one piglet per feed was 20 , 80 mg. At the same time, in the experimental group (with massage), the volume of sucked colostrum was 48.30 ml, the concentration of IgG was 0.45 mg / ml, and the amount of IgG obtained by one piglet was 21.73 mg, respectively, and only due to an increase in the volume of colostrum .
IgG.By the third hour after farrowing in the control, the volume of colostrum sucked by the piglet was 46.80 ml on average, and the IgG concentration was 0.47 mg / ml, and therefore the amount of IgG received by one piglet per feed was 21.99 mg. At the same time, in the experimental group (with massage), the volume of sucked colostrum was 47.80 ml, the concentration of IgG was 0.48 mg / ml, and the amount of IgG obtained by one piglet, respectively, was 22.94 mg, to a greater extent due to an increase 0.03 mg / ml IgG concentration.
Six hours after farrowing in the control, the volume of colostrum sucked by the piglet was 47.10 ml on average, and the IgG concentration was 0.49 mg / ml, and therefore the amount of IgG received by one piglet per feed was 23.08 mg. At the same time, in the experimental group (with massage), the volume of sucked colostrum was 49.60 ml, the concentration of IgG was 0.51 mg / ml, and the amount of IgG obtained by one piglet, respectively, was 25.79 mg, which was initiated by an increase in the volume of colostrum , and the concentration of IgG in it.
By the ninth hour after farrowing in the control, the volume of colostrum sucked by the piglet averaged 47.20 ml, and the IgG concentration was 0.51 mg / ml, and therefore the amount of IgG received by one piglet per feed was 24.07 mg. At the same time, in the experimental group (with massage), the volume of sucked colostrum was 49.70 ml, the concentration of IgG was 0.52 mg / ml, and the amount of IgG obtained by one piglet was 25.84 mg, which was initiated by an increase in the volume of colostrum, and the concentration of IgG in it.
18 hours after farrowing in the control, the volume of colostrum sucked by the piglet averaged 47.25 ml, and the IgG concentration was 0.55 mg / ml, and therefore the amount of IgG received by one piglet per feed was 25.99 mg. At the same time, in the experimental group (with massage), the volume of sucked colostrum was 49.82 ml, the IgG concentration was 0.56 mg / ml, and the amount of IgG obtained by one piglet, respectively, was 27.89 mg, which was initiated by an increase in the volume of colostrum, and the concentration of IgG in it.
By 27 hours after farrowing in the control, the volume of colostrum → milk sucked by the piglet → milk averaged 47.60 ml, and the concentration of IgG 0.37 mg / ml, and therefore the amount of IgG received by one piglet per feed is 17.61 mg . At the same time, in the experimental group (with massage), the volume of sucked colostrum → milk was 51.12 ml, the concentration of IgG was 0.37 mg / ml, and the amount of IgG obtained by one piglet was 18.91 mg, respectively. In connection with the transition of the mammary gland from the production of colostrum components to milk, the volume of secreted secretion increases, but the yield of IgG decreases as a result of a significant decrease in the permeability of the lactohematic barrier for large molecular proteins.
15-20%.Thus, in order to prevent piglet hypotrophy and obtain more IgG as a non-specific protection factor, 10 minutes before the pigs suck out colostrum, the sows need to be given breast massage. It was experimentally established that the effect of such massage effectively initiates the release of IgG from the blood in colostrum by the sixth, ninth and 18 hours after farrowing and is, respectively, 17%; 8% and 7%, which improves the safety of sucking piglets during this period by 15-20%.
The proposed method allows to solve the problem of hypotrophy of piglets in industrial pig farming, to align large litters in live weight.
