Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of rocketry, namely, rockets with a cluster head of multiple launch rocket systems.
The object of the invention is a missile with a cluster head of increased combat effectiveness.
The combat effectiveness of the specified missile to a large extent depends on the number of combat elements in the warhead, obtaining the required dispersion of combat elements in the target area.
Known missiles M8, M13, providing for the defeat of area and large-sized targets (Kurov V.D., Dolzhansky Yu.M. Fundamentals of the design of powder rocket shells. - M: Oborongiz, 1961, p.11), containing the body of the warhead with a pointed nose the part inside which the explosive charge is located, a jet engine. The head of these shells is not separated, the size of the affected area is limited, and the combat mission is achieved by increasing the number of shells.
Missiles, protected by US patents No. 3491689, No. 3636877 and also accepted as analogues, contain a detachable warhead housing, an explosive charge, a jet engine, a separation device. The objective of these technical solutions was to increase the combat effectiveness of the warhead due to its vertical approach to the ground, however, to destroy a large area, an increase in the number of shells is necessary.
Common features with the design of a missile with a cluster head offered by the authors is the presence of a jet engine head part as part of the body analogues.
Also known cluster head of a rotating rocket according to the patent of the Russian Federation No. 2186330, IPC F42B 12/58, adopted as a prototype. It contains a hull, cylindrical combat elements, a frame, an expelling charge. The frame is made in the form of a tubular guide, pine with the body of the head part, and is equipped with annular stiffeners interacting with the body of the head part. Improving the reliability of the ejection of combat elements is ensured by increasing the rigidity of the structure and further dilution of the elements. The specified design is intended for a certain type of combat elements with a diameter of not less than 0.6 of the inner diameter of the head shell.
However, when designing a multiple launch rocket systems with small-sized warheads to ensure the destruction of targets over a significant area, this design does not allow to place a large number of warheads.

A new set of structural elements, as well as the presence of connections between the parameters of the claimed missile with a cluster head made it possible, in particular, due to the following:
- корпуса головной части из оболочки и носовой части, соединенных с возможностью их взаимного продольного перемещения, а задней части оболочки корпуса головной части, жестко соединенной с реактивным двигателем - обеспечить направленный выброс рамы с боевыми элементами с симметричной ориентацией начальных участков полета боевых элементов относительно оси головной части и обеспечить таким образом равномерное рассеивание боевых элементов на местности;- the shell of the head of the shell and the bow, connected with the possibility of their mutual longitudinal movement, and the rear of the shell of the shell of the head, rigidly connected to the jet engine - to provide directional ejection of the frame with combat elements with a symmetrical orientation of the initial sections of the flight of combat elements relative to the axis of the head parts and thus ensure uniform dispersion of combat elements on the ground;

The invention is illustrated in the drawing, which shows a General view of a rocket with a cluster head part and its cross section.
A missile consists of a housing 1 of a cluster head, nose 2, shell 3, frame 4 with warheads 5, knockout charge 7, a jet engine 12. Frame 4 is made in the form of a central tube 8 with a diameter of 0.15 ... 0.30 caliber fastened to the nose 2 of the head housing and the piston 9 in contact with the inner surface of the shell 3. The piston 9 is connected by means of bursting bolts 10 to a support disk 11 mounted in the rear of the shell 3 of the housing.
5.The shell 3 and the nose 2 are connected with the possibility of their mutual longitudinal movement, and the rear part of the shell 3 of the housing is rigidly connected to the jet engine 12. The combat elements 5 are located in the cavity between the outer surface of the central pipe 8 and the inner surface of the shell 3, and their longitudinal axes are parallel the longitudinal axis of the projectile, and in the housing of the combat elements 5, there are through transverse holes 6, the axes of which are radially oriented relative to the longitudinal axis of the projectile and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the combat element Comrade 5.
The functioning of the proposed missile is as follows. At a given point in the flight path of the rocket, a signal is sent to the knockout charge 7, which creates pressure in the cavity between the piston 9 and the supporting disk 11. After the bolts 10 break, the piston 9 begins to move along the shell 3 and pushes the frame 4 with warheads 5 out of the shell, fastened with a jet engine 12. Due to the proposed design provides a directed departure of the frame with combat elements with zero angles of attack, excludes additional initial disturbances that affect the dynamics of the element . Subsequently, the combat elements 5 scatter in the radial direction relative to the axis of the frame, are braked and provide uniform dispersion on the ground. In addition to aerodynamic and gas-dynamic forces, the expansion of combat elements is also assisted by the centrifugal forces acting on them due to the rotation of the projectile, which is inherent in all rockets of multiple launch rocket systems. Due to the proposed design of the element with through holes in the body, as well as their laying, in which the axis of the elements are oriented parallel to the longitudinal axis of the projectile, the time for the dynamics of the perturbed movement relative to the center of mass is reduced, the initial disturbances during the expansion of the elements are reduced, the spread of ballistic characteristics of the element is reduced, in this regard, the uniformity of their dispersion on the ground is ensured. Due to the large number of combat elements, the area of destruction increases, and consequently, the combat effectiveness of a rocket increases.
The indicated positive effect is confirmed by flight design tests of rocket launcher samples with a cluster head made in accordance with the invention.
The proposed technical solution made it possible to develop a missile with a cluster head of increased combat effectiveness, to ensure uniform dispersion of combat elements on the ground.
Currently, design documentation has been developed, flight tests have been conducted, and mass production is scheduled.
