Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the electric power industry and electrical engineering and can be used in all types of protections, mainly microprocessor ones. It refers to that direction in relay protection, the foundations of which were laid by the invention [1], where the task of combining information coming from different phases of the observed object was first posed and solved. The relevance of technical solutions related to the integration of information has increased significantly with the advent of microprocessor technology. Inventions [2, 3] solved the problem of combining a priori information about the observed object with current information about two modes: the first short circuit mode, the second one that preceded the short circuit. However, the scope of these technical solutions is limited by transmission lines.
[5].A more general solution is the method of relay protection of an arbitrary energy object [4], in which it was possible to combine a priori information about the energy object with the observed values by joint conversion into two-dimensional signals and setting protection characteristics on the planes of two-dimensional signals. The disadvantage of this proposal was the preliminary division of the planes into cells, the coding of groups of cells and the knocking out of those codes for which operation occurs in alternative modes to controlled ones. Controlled modes (α-modes) - those in which the protection is designed to work. Alternative modes (β-modes) - those in which triggering means an undesirable protection action. No matter how carefully the protection training is conducted, there is no guarantee that any of the activation codes in the alternative mode will not be missed, which means the risk of non-selective protection behavior. There is also a codeless method of protection, but again with limited use for power lines [5].
Further development of this direction went along the path of separation of relay protection actuation functions in controlled modes and blocking functions in alternative modes [6], as well as the introduction of relay learning operations - microprocessor protection modules [7]. However, in these sources, new technical operations have not yet formed a single whole.
The most effective method of relay protection, presented in [8]. According to him, relay protection appears in the form of a system taught by teachers - simulation models of the protected energy facility. Two types of simulation models are used. The former reproduce α-modes. Relay protection is designed to operate in α-modes. The second reproduce β-modes in which the protection is prohibited. Relay protection is assembled by two types of modules: the first ones form a trip signal, and the second ones form a protection block. In the discussed method, which is the prototype of a new technical solution, the crucial role is played by the delineation of the modules of each type in accordance with the hierarchy adopted from the very beginning. Such a need imposes significant restrictions on the functional capabilities of the method, reduces its generality, making it less universal than it could be if all the modules of the same type forming a single group were equal and made their utmost contribution to the recognition of an emergency at an energy facility.
The purpose of the invention is to expand the functionality and universalization of the method of relay protection of an energy facility.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the known method of protecting an energy object by constructing it from two types of modules, fundamental changes have been made in terms of its structure and module training operations. As in the prototype, the modules of the first type form a response signal, and the modules of the second type - to block. Information about the state of the energy object is converted into two-dimensional signals. Each signal is displayed on its reference plane. Modules of different types are trained from different simulation models. The first models reproduce controlled modes of an energy object, for example, short circuit modes in a controlled zone. The second models reproduce alternative modes. Protection training consists in displaying sets of modes on the planes of two-dimensional signals and in defining the boundaries of the display areas. But unlike the prototype, all modules are trained in parallel, without separation into the main and additional. Modules of the first type are taught by all controlled modes, and modules of the second type, and this is a very significant feature of the invention, only by those alternative modes that cause the operation of all modules of the first type without exception. Further, the outputs of all equal modules of the first type are combined according to circuit I. The outputs of all equally equal modules of the second type are combined also according to circuit I, but with an inverse output blocking the first circuit I.
The main claim is invariant with respect to simulation models and to ranges of variation of varied parameters. The second paragraph provides an additional operation for determining the controlled modes that trigger the operation of all modules of the second type, thereby blocking the action of relay protection. Therefore, this operation identifies controlled modes that failed to recognize protection that has passed only one stage of training.
Finally, the third paragraph of the claims provides operations that organize a multi-stage process of training relay protection with increasing its recognition ability from stage to stage. Hierarchical groups of modules of both types are introduced, one group at each stage. Modules of different types, as before, teach in different ways. The modules of the first type at each stage are taught part of those controlled modes that caused the operation of all modules of the second type without exception of the previous stage, and the modules of the second type are trained by those alternative modes that cause the operation of all modules of the first type without exception of their hierarchical group. After the training, each hierarchical group of modules is switched on autonomously in the same way as the main modules of two types, trained at the initial stage of the formation of the relay protection structure. Thus, the method of relay protection, covered by all claims, is characterized by a sequence of operations performed as many times as required for the most complete recognition of the controlled modes.
Figure 1 and 2 shows the structural diagrams of the first stage of training of relay protection, carried out from simulation models of the first controlled modes, and then the alternative modes. Controlled modes are set by the initial range of values of variable parameters And alternative modes - G β domain parameter values corresponding model. Figure 3 shows the structural diagram of the relay protection that implements the proposed method in accordance with the first claim. The vector z = [z 1 , z 2 , ... z n ] T denotes measurement, i.e. the set of two-dimensional signals z 1 , z 2 , ... z n supplied to the measuring bodies (modules) of relay protection. Figure 4 illustrates the operation of determining a subset α-modes that could not be recognized during the training of protection by the initial set of these modes . The operation corresponds to the second claim. 5, 6 relate to the second stage of training relay protection, in the structure of FIG. 5, training carries out part modes . The fragmentation of the set concerns only α-modes. Many β-modes are always used in full, which is reflected in Fig.6. The illustrations in FIGS. 5 and 6 relate to the last claim, and the last illustration (FIG. 7) explains all the stages of relay protection training: the main (initial) and subsequent, from which all other stages, if necessary, are essentially nothing they do not differ.

3.Note. The superscripts in parentheses indicate the stage of protection training: index (0) —main (initial stage), index (1) —the next stage; further steps are possible, they are performed according to the schemes of FIGS. 4-6, and the trained modules of the hierarchical sequence are connected each time according to the scheme of FIG. 3.
Sαi.The main stage of relay protection training consists of two procedures. The first passes according to the scheme of figure 1, consisting of a simulation model of controlled
22-24.The second procedure follows the
Upon completion of the training, consisting of two procedures in FIGS. 1 and 2, a protection structure (Fig. 3) is formed with the modules of the first and second types 8-10 and 22-24, the elements And 15, 25, combining the modules of the same type, and the terminal element And 26. This completes the initial stage of training and the formation of the protection structure in strict accordance with the first claim. Therefore, the operations carried out by the training structures of FIGS. 1, 2 and the resulting protection structure of FIG. 3 are self-sufficient.
Это множество режимов обозначается и составляет некоторую часть заданной области α-режимов: ⊂.The operations carried out by the schemes of figure 4-6, add additional features to the proposed method. The teaching structure of FIG. 4 again refers to a simulation model of α-
Цель этой структуры - обучить дополнительную группу модулей первого типа 30-32, которые получают свои характеристики срабатывания .The next, in this case, the second stage of relay protection training, like the initial one, consists of two procedures. The structural diagram of the first procedure (figure 5) differs from the similar scheme in figure 1 only in the area of variation of the parameters of the simulation model. Area Model marked with
33-35.The second procedure of the new stage is the training of additional modules of the second type (Fig.6). The
In Fig. 7, illustrating the relay protection training procedures, the parameter definition areas are shown on the left. and G β simulation models of α- and β-modes. The areas are marked with the
Consider the action of the proposed method, highlighting the stages, training procedures and technical operations.
Преобразователи 2-4 формируют двумерные сигналы замеры zαi=Fαi(xα). The first stage, the first procedure (figures 1 and 7, a). Simulation model of α-
2. The first stage, the second procedure (figures 1 and 7, b). Here, the simulation model of β-modes operates 11. Note that the region of variation of the parameters of this model G β is shown to be more extensive than , and moreover, unlimited in at least one of the parameters x βj - an element of the vector x β . The fact is that the sensitivity of relay protection to α-modes is deliberately limited, while the detuning from β-modes has no limitations. So, for example, if R fβ is the transient resistance during a short circuit outside the protection zone, then at any value of this parameter from zero to infinity the protection is not allowed. By the way, when R fβ → ∞ we get the normal mode of the protected object, which certainly belongs to the category of β-modes. The difference from the previous procedure is that from the whole set of modes x β ∈ G β, only those that are displayed in all previously obtained regions are now selected ; the corresponding condition has the form
22-24.If it is executed, then all modules of the first type 8-10 are triggered, include an And 15 element, which removes the blocking signal from the training blocks 16-18, and they begin to act in the same way as previously blocks 5-7. As a result, on larger or smaller parts of areas areas of β-modes will be placed A double index indicates that this subdomain of a larger area . Outlined in bold lines in Fig. 7, b, these subregions serve as response areas for modules of the second type 22-24.
26.3. The first stage, the layout of the structural diagram of relay protection (figure 3). Trained modules of two types 8-10 and 22-24 are combined with their
The input signals z = [z 1 , z 2 , ... z n ] T is the measurement vector coming this time not from simulation models, but from a real object. The circuit operates under two conditions. Firstly, all the modules of the first type 8-10 should work without exception, and secondly, all the modules of the second type 22-24 should not work without exception. If the second condition is violated, then the AND 25 element will remove its output signal from the input of the And 26 element, thereby blocking the operation of the relay protection. A similar situation develops if the object operates in β-mode, for which, in fact, blocking is necessary. Unfortunately, a similar situation develops in some α-modes, as a result of which it is not possible to recognize the entire specified region of α-modes , but only a part of it . The second part of recognition has not yet succumbed. Three described operations include all the main features of the proposed method. Further there are additional signs.
4. The second stage. Initial procedure: delimiting the domain of α-modes G α into two object areas and (Figs. 4 and 7, c). Here, the simulation model of α-
3.Difference between areas and defines an area of 36 modes the second are recognized by the structural diagram of FIG. 3.
The purpose of the subsequent steps is to reduce the size of the region of α-modes that are not recognizable. Therefore, during the transition to further training of relay protection, the object area divided into at least two parts. One of them, denoted as take the place of the object area in subsequent procedures.
22-24.2.1. The second stage, the first procedure (Fig.5 and 7, g). At this stage, first, additional modules of the first type 30-32 are trained from the simulation model of α-
2.2. The second stage, the second procedure (Fig.6 and 7, d). Following the additional modules of the first type 30-32, the training of additional modules of the second type 33-35 is performed. The training scheme does not differ fundamentally from the original training scheme in figure 2, since in the simulation model of β-
2.3. The second stage, the layout of the structure. Due to the stereotype of this procedure, no additional illustration is required. The block diagram of the protection of the additional modules is formed in the same way as the main circuit of figure 3. Each of these protection schemes operates independently of the other schemes, i.e. their outputs are combined by a logical OR operation.
3. The third stage, the initial procedure (Fig.7, e). It is carried out by analogy with the scheme of figure 4, but instead of the area this time the simulation model of α-
The proposed method has no restrictions on the number of stages of training defense and the formation of its structural schemes. The final result should be either the complete disappearance of the region of unrecognized α-modes, or its compression to acceptable limits, the majority of which are modes that are physically unrecognizable due to insufficient information base of relay protection. The advantages of the method also affect in this case, since during the training of protection the fate of each specific mode is monitored, from which the relay protection is designed to protect the energy object.
