Abstract

SUBSTANCE: method includes loading ends of sheared trees into the machine for bunch formation and transportation to the next station. The technical result in the proposed method and machine for forming bundles of trees is to reduce the complexity of the design of the machine and its weight, improve the patency of the machine and improve the environment.

In the patent and scientific and technical literature, such methods for forming tree bundles and the design of the machine for forming tree bundles in a similar manner were not found.

According to the proposed method, the formation of a pack of trees is carried out as follows.

A bundle forming machine 1, for example a manipulator-type feller buncher, drives into the cutting area where the trees are allocated for felling, stops at the trees to be cut, the load-carrying rope 7 of the winch 6 is laid on the ground, as shown in Fig. 1, and cuts off the available trees and lays them with knots on the rope 7 (figure 1). Cutting off all the trees accessible from this parking lot, the resulting part of pack 17 is choked, machine 1 moves to the next parking lot, unwinding the load-carrying rope 7 and leaving the cut trees in place (Fig. 2). Next, the winch 6 is turned on to wind the load-carrying rope 7 and part of the bundle 17 from the previous parking lot is mowed to machine 1 (Fig. 3) and cut trees from this parking lot are stacked on the trimmed part of the bundle 17. The winch 6 is connected to the shafts 11 or 12 of the movement mechanism 3 through a device 9, for example, a cardan drive or an elastic coupling and gearbox 10. In this case, the driven gear 13 of the shaft 11 or the driven gear 14 of the shaft 12 do not have a hard coupling, but are provided with a coupling 15 for hard coupling, for example, a gear 14 with a shaft 12. The movement mechanism 3 is provided with a drive 16, for example a hydraulic motor.

Machine for the formation of bundles of trees works as follows.

Having formed bundle 17 as described above to the required volume for its skidding, the end of the load-carrying rope 7 with hook 8 is removed from under the bundle 17 by winding it onto the winch drum 6. The next bundle is formed in the same way. When the winch 6 drive is made from the movement mechanism 3 for winding the load-carrying rope 7, the clutch 15 moves along the shaft 12 from the gear 14 and the hydraulic motor 16 is turned on and the torque from it is transmitted to the shaft 12 and to the winch 6. In this case, the gear 14 rotates freely the shaft 12 and the torque is not transmitted to the output shaft 4 and the drive sprocket 5. To move the machine 1, the coupling 15, moving by the operator towards the gear 14, creates a rigid connection of the gear 14 with the shaft 12 and the torque is transmitted to the output shaft 4 and the drive sprocket 5 .
