Abstract
Description
The invention relates to devices for controlling impurities in gas mixtures using primarily a photoionization detector.
патент РФ 2298177, G01N 27/64, 2007).A known gas analyzer containing a gas line in which a photoionization detector and a flow inducer are installed. The gas line is connected to the source of the analyzed gas mixture, for example with ambient air (see RF patent 2298177, G01N 27/64, 2007).
д.Although known gas analyzer has high sensitivity and successfully solves the many challenges of air monitoring, measuring range analyzer does not go beyond a few thousand mg / m 3. This limits its use at high concentrations of the measured substances that occur, for example, at the outlet of technological apparatuses in the chemical industry, during oil spills in enclosed spaces, etc.
патент РФ 2293311, G01N 27/64, 2007).The closest to the proposed gas analyzer in terms of essential features is a gas analyzer containing a gas line in which a detector and a flow inducer and an adsorber-absorber are installed. The gas line in which the detector is installed is directly connected to the source of the analyzed gas mixture (see RF patent 2293311, G01N 27/64, 2007).
This gas analyzer, adopted as a prototype, also has a limited range of concentration measurements.
The objective of the invention was to expand the measurement range in the direction of measuring increased concentrations of the measured substances (up to several percent) by controlled dilution.
This problem is solved by the fact that a gas analyzer is proposed comprising a gas line in which a detector and a flow inducer, an adsorber-absorber are installed, and a gas line connected to a source of the analyzed gas mixture, into which according to the invention at least two containers are calibrated by volume, one of which is installed in the gas line in which the detector is installed, and the second is installed in the gas line connected to the source of the analyzed gas mixture, a flow inducer installed in the gas line connected to the source of the analyzed gas, controlled shut-off elements for interrupting the flow of the analyzed gas mixture through a calibrated container installed in the gas line connected to the source of the analyzed gas, and a flow switch that alternately connects the adsorber-absorber and the calibrated container installed in the gas line, connected to the source of the analyzed gas mixture, to the gas line in which the detector is installed.
Due to the above-mentioned features of the gas analyzer, it is possible to controlledly dilute the concentration of the measured components in the analyzed gas mixture introduced into the gas line in which the detector is installed.
Another difference of the gas analyzer is that it introduces an additional volume-calibrated container installed parallel to the gas line in which the detector is installed, and separated from this line by controlled locking elements.
Another difference of the gas analyzer is that the shut-off elements for interrupting the flow of the analyzed gas through a calibrated container installed in the gas line connected to the source of the analyzed gas mixture, and the shut-off elements separating the additional calibrated container from the gas line in which the detector is installed, are made in in the form of electromagnetic valves.
The technical result of the invention lies in the fact that the proposed gas analyzer provides the possibility of controlled dilution of the analyzed gas mixture with a gas mixture purified by an absorber filter. As a result of such dilution, the concentration of the measured components decreases to a value that is within the measuring range of the gas analyzer. This allows you to expand the measuring range of the gas analyzer in the direction of high concentrations.
The invention is illustrated by drawings.

Figure 2 shows a schematic diagram of a gas analyzer during the period when a metered amount of the analyzed gas mixture is introduced into the gas line of the detector.
Figure 3 shows a diagram of a gas analyzer with an additional calibrated capacity.
The gas analyzer comprises a gas line 1 in which a detector 2, for example a photoionization detector, and a
The gas analyzer has two operating modes. In the first mode, the sampling is carried out and at the same time the measuring path of the gas analyzer is cleaned and prepared for measurements. This mode is characterized by the fact (see Fig. 1) that the shut-off
After reaching the "zero signal" of the detector 2, the gas analyzer is transferred to the second mode of operation (figure 2), when the
The concentration of the measured components C is determined by the formula C = A × K, where A is the readings of the gas analyzer, K is the dilution coefficient. The dilution coefficient K 1 of the concentration of the measured components can be calculated by the formula:
K1=(V1+V2+V3)/V2,K 1 = (V 1 + V 2 + V 3 ) / V 2 ,
1.where V 1 is the volume of the
In those cases where the measurement or calculation is difficult, which may be the case for the internal volumes of the detector 2 and the
K1.The ratio of the concentration of the measured component in the mixture to the concentration measured by the detector 2 is equal to the value of the dilution coefficient K 1 .
1.If as a result of the measurement it is established that, despite the dilution, the measured value is beyond the value of the upper limit of measurement of the gas analyzer, the gas analyzer is transferred to the operating mode corresponding to figure 3. This mode is characterized in that the locking elements 6 and 7 are open, and the
Thus, using additional calibrated large-capacity tanks, practically arbitrarily high concentrations can be measured. Note that in this case, the measurement is performed using a gas analyzer having a normal measuring range that does not require graduation at high concentrations, which removes a number of serious technical problems associated with the lack of appropriate gas mixtures.
ПримерExample
The concentration of oil vapor in the pump room is measured. A photoionization detector, similar to that used as a prototype, and having an upper measurement limit of 2000 mg / m 3 , shows a fixed maximum value, which indicates that the measured concentration is above the upper limit. The developed gas analyzer was calibrated for oil products in the same measurement range. The values of K 1 and K 2 were determined experimentally using a hexane-air calibration mixture and were 5.5 and 11, 8, respectively. When a calibrated vessel V 1 was introduced, the measured value was also above the upper limit.
3.With the introduction of an additional calibrated capacity V 4, the gas analyzer readings amounted to 1560 mg / m 3 , which corresponds to a measured concentration of 18408 mg / m 3 .
