Abstract

FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry, enzymes, microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a microorganism possessing ability for production of a useful metabolite formed with participation of acetyl-coenzyme A, such as L-glutamic acid, L-glutamine, L-proline, L-arginine, L-leucine, L-cysteine, succinate and polyhydroxybutyrate. This microorganism is modified so that activity of D-xyluloso-5-phosphate phosphoketolase and/or fructose-6-phosphate phosphoketolase in this microorganism in increased. Also, invention represents a method for preparing above said useful metabolites using the indicated microorganism. Invention provides preparing useful metabolites with the high degree of effectiveness.
EFFECT: valuable properties of microorganism.
