Abstract

The present invent provides a method for the production of amino acids that is characterized by, in sequence, addition of the crystals of an amino acid having an average particle diameter of 1~120 μm to a culture medium to a concentration of above 0.5 g/L, cultivation of a microorganism capable of producing said amino acid, generation and accumulation of the crystals of said amino acid, and collection of said amino acid crystals from the culture broth, and a method for the production of amino acids that is characterized by, in sequence, addition of the crystals of an amino acid until the total surface area of said amino acid crystals reaches 0.02 m<2>/L, cultivation of a microorganism capable of producing said amino acid, generation and accumulation of the crystals of said amino acid, and collection of said amino acid crystals from the culture broth.
