Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to medicine, namely to physiotherapy, and can be used, for example, to teach crawling on the abdomen and / or rehabilitation of patients diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
A similar device is known under the names: “Quasar” [1, p. 45 and 49], “Pony baby” [2, p. 23], etc., for transporting children in cars, which is a portable seat without a back, with short side “single-angled” armrests, which are also used as handles for carrying this seat. Various versions of such portable car seats are produced by several companies in the world, according to European or other standards. In physiotherapy, such a device can be used to lay the child in the “lying on his stomach” position for rest or for the initial training of the vestibular apparatus, which is carried out by two physiotherapists by lifting the device by the side handles with subsequent careful periodic lateral tilting of the device in different directions. The disadvantages of this analog device are: low functionality and unsuitability for teaching children to crawl on all fours.
A similar device is known under the name "suspension" [3, Fig. 43 on p.157] "for vestibular training and diagnosis of the condition of the vestibular analyzer" of patients who are unable to crawl on all fours, based on two corsets, under the chest and abdomen of a lying patient, with devices (lacing) for fixing the patient’s body to the corset, containing four slings adjustable in length, two slings from each side of the patient, suspended on a horizontal rotatable wheel, which can also be moved linearly along the horizontal cable Orogen. By changing the length of the lines, "you can give the patient’s body various positions - vertical, head down, on his side", etc. The disadvantage of this method is the low suitability for teaching the patient to crawl on all fours.
A device analogue [4, p. 15] is known for training children who are unable to crawl on all fours, with the ability (motor skills) to swing back and forth in a position on all fours, which is a towel placed under the patient’s chest, at the ends of which one or two physiotherapists (trainers) located on different sides of the patient can lift the sick child to all fours and help him swing back and forth in this position or crawl on all fours. The disadvantage of this method is the complexity and high complexity, limited functionality (the inability to put the child’s body in an upright position, the constant sliding of the towel along the patient’s body, etc.) and insufficient safety (the towel can slip out of the trainer's hands and the child can hit his face on the floor or other surface used for crawling).
A prototype device is known [5, Fig. 21.1 on p. 279] for training and rehabilitation of child patients who are not able to crawl normally on all fours, based on a board on rollers under the patient’s chest, stomach and legs, on which the patient moves in a supine position due to the active movement of the hands. A disadvantage of the known prototype device is its low efficiency and limited functionality (motor skills of only the child-patient’s hands develop, and only in some functional directions, and he cannot even get on all fours and crawl on all fours).
The technical result of the invention is the expansion of therapeutic functional capabilities of the device, increasing efficiency, safety and comfort, as well as reducing the complexity and complexity of physiotherapy for cerebral palsy.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the device containing the wheels and the tray under the chest and abdomen of the child, in addition, according to the invention, the tray is made in the form of a plastic cylinder opening along the upper surface of the cylinder, and the wheels are arranged in parallel rows along the axis of the cylinder on its outer surface for longitudinal rolling at any angle of rotation of the cylinder around its own axis.
The technical result is also achieved by the fact that in the specified device at the junction of the longitudinal connector of the cylinder and along its edges, gaskets or pads made of elastic material are installed. In addition, the device is equipped with a retractable toy, which the child seeks.
Comparison of the claimed device with the prototype made it possible to establish that the claimed device is characterized in that the tray is made in the form of a plastic cylinder opening along the upper surface of the cylinder, and the wheels are arranged in parallel rows along the axis of the cylinder on its outer surface for longitudinal rolling at any angle of rotation of the cylinder around its own axis, and conclude that the invention meets the criterion of "novelty."
When studying other known solutions in the art, features identical to those distinguishing the claimed invention from the prototype were not identified, and therefore it meets the criterion of "inventive step".
The practical application of the claimed invention for the treatment of cerebral palsy provides him with the criterion of "industrial applicability".
Figure 1 and 2 shows the proposed device, where: 1 - a cylindrical tray; 2 - longitudinal connector of the cylinder-tray; 3 - wheels on the outer surface of the cylinder-tray; 4 - pad of elastic material on the edges of the cylinder; 5 - pad of elastic material on the edges of the longitudinal connector of the cylinder-tray; 6 - retractable toy.
The device operates as follows.
The therapist puts on a hard surface tray 1, which is open along the longitudinal connector; lays the child-patient in the middle of the tray, longitudinally, belly down, so that the chest and stomach of the child-patient are located on the tray, and his arms and legs are outside the tray; tightly closes the longitudinal connector 2; It is located in front of the cylinder from the side of the head of the child; attracts his attention and interest in his favorite toy or treat; gives the command to crawl forward (to the toy or treat), and if the child crawls, then gives him the toy or treat. If necessary, the therapist helps the child crawl forward on his stomach, moving the tray-cylinder in the longitudinal forward direction. In this case, for the interest of the child, you can use a toy attached to the front of the cylinder tray.
The proposed device allows, in comparison with the prototype device, to expand the therapeutic functional capabilities of the device, increase efficiency, safety and comfort, as well as reduce the complexity and complexity of physiotherapy for cerebral palsy. The device allows the child to easily roll over on his side or on his back and crawl on his back, pushing off the floor with his feet.
