Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular veterinary medicine, and can be used in reindeer and livestock farms to combat gadfly larvae.
Known insecticidal composition for controlling gadfly larvae, including the active substance and excipient, and ivermectin (22,23-dihydroavermectin B 1 ) is used as the active substance, and an organic solvent is used as the excipient (Guidance on the use of Novomek against pathogens of parasitic animal diseases No. 13 -4-2 / 2124 of 08/07/2000, approved by the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation). However, the disadvantage of the known agent is its high toxicity to warm-blooded animals (it cannot be used on dairy animals due to prolonged excretion with milk - in the animal organism the known agent remains for 28-45 days, which also limits the period of slaughter / A.A. Nepoklonov Improvement of cattle herds from hypodermatosis. Veterinary medicine, No. 11, 2002, p.3) and relatively low specific activity. In addition, gadfly larvae for pupation do not fall out of the animal’s body at the same time and invade animals from July to September. And this means that the larvae from the first winged gadfly by September, when the treatments (early chemotherapy) are carried out, will make fistulas in the skin of the animals, cover with a capsule and, thus, will not be exposed to the drug, which means that it is not initially 100% effective.
The task of the invention is to increase the effectiveness of the composition.
%:The technical result is achieved in an insecticidal composition for controlling gadfly larvae, including the active substance and the filler, in that it contains hyaluronic acid as the active substance, and zinc acetate, sodium chloride and water as the filler, in the following ratio of components, in wt. %:
Гиалуроновая кислота - 5,0-10,0Hyaluronic acid - 5.0-10.0
Цинка ацетат - 0,9-2,0Zinc acetate - 0.9-2.0
Хлористый натрий - 0,5-2,0Sodium Chloride - 0.5-2.0
Water is the rest.
715-726, 1982).Hyaluronic acid - a mucopolysaccharide, is part of the tissues and fluids of the animal body (the vitreous body of the eye, skin, connective tissue, joint fluid, umbilical cord). (T.T. Berezov, B.F. Korovkin. Biological chemistry, M., “Medicine”, p. 715-726, 1982).
И.Л.Кнутянц/).Zinc acetate - Zn (O 2 C 2 H 3 ) 2 . An aqueous solution of zinc acetate is used as an antifungal agent in medicine ("Chemical Encyclopedic Dictionary", publishing house "Soviet Encyclopedia", M., 1983, p. 792 / edited by I.L. Knutyants /).
In the patent and scientific and technical literature, technical solutions are not known containing features similar to those declared, i.e. offer meets the criterion of “novelty”.
All components of the composition are manufactured by domestic industry, i.e. the proposal is “industrially applicable”.
We first found that the use of hyaluronic acid in certain combinations with zinc increases the efficiency of protecting mammalian animals from gadfly larvae / up to 100% /, i.e. the proposal meets the criterion of “inventive step”.
We found that an important factor of the “movement” of gadfly larvae inside the animal’s body is strepto-staphylococcal hyaluronidase secreted by the larvae. Only thanks to this enzyme is the migration of larvae of stage 1 gadflies. Therefore, to block the action of the enzyme hyaluronidase, we introduce into the proposed composition the natural substrate of this enzyme - hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid increases viscosity and blocks hyaluronidase. Zinc acetate in the claimed composition has an anti-inflammatory effect when stopping (death) of migrating larvae of gadflies: subcutaneous - in the fascia of muscles and subcutaneous tissue; nasopharyngeal - in the mucus of the nasal passages. Without breaking their way in viscous hyaluronic acid, the larvae die or begin to become covered with a capsule. As our studies have shown, it is the claimed ratios of components that are effectively absorbed by the animal’s body, combining with each other, exerting a detrimental effect on the gadfly larvae.
