Description
The invention relates to medicine, namely to a new drug - acizole in a dosage form of 1 ml of 6% in a 0.5% aqueous solution of novocaine for the treatment of all forms of psoriasis.
To date, there are no tools and methods for the effective treatment of psoriasis. The choice of treatment methods mainly depends on the form and stage of the disease and is aimed at eliminating the secondary signs of the disease. The complex of therapy includes anti-inflammatory, sedatives, antibacterial, hormonal agents, vitamins, minerals, physical and photo chemotherapy, and locally - various specific ointments, creams, pastes, including and agents containing cytostatics. The aim of the invention is the search for effective drugs for the treatment of psoriasis, aimed at eliminating the etiopathogenetic mechanisms of the onset and development of the disease.
This goal is achieved in that acizole has good tolerance and high efficacy in the treatment of psoriasis. Acizole is approved for use in medical practice by the Ministry of Health of the USSR in 1991 as an antidote to carbon monoxide.
The essence of the proposed invention lies in the fact that the use of a 6% solution of acizole in a 0.5% aqueous solution of novocaine 1 ml 1 time per day intramuscularly leads to the complete recovery of patients with psoriasis. The course of treatment is 15-30 days. The skin and mucous membranes are freed from psoriatic plaques, the phenomena of arthropatic psoriasis disappear, as well as the neurotic reactions characteristic of patients with psoriasis, and overall health improves.
Examples of treatment for severe psoriasis.
Example 1. Patient G. 43 years. Dz: arthropathic psoriasis of both hands. Sick for more than 15 years. He was repeatedly treated on an inpatient and outpatient basis. In the last 5 years he has been taking hormonal treatment. In the last 3 years, the flexion functions of the hand and fingers are difficult. The patient is apathetic, skeptical about the outcome of treatment. The back surfaces of the hands are covered with fan-shaped psoriatic plaques. There are numerous bleeding fissures in obsolete, corpus callosum plaques. In the palms, the skin is infiltrated, bright red in color with partially exfoliated horny layers. The areas of the wrist and finger joints are swollen, movements in them are limited due to soreness and tightening of the skin.
The patient, by his consent, is prescribed an injection of acyzole 1 time per day, 1 ml each. On the 4th day of treatment on the palms, infiltration and swelling are practically absent. On the back surface of the skin of the hands, the infiltration around large corpus callosum plaques also decreased; there are no small plaques. Joint deformation is less noticeable. The patient may bend his fingers into a fist. Movement in the wrist joints is painless.
On the 14th day of treatment, the patient's well-being and mood are good. The skin of the palms has a natural color. There are small single residues of exfoliation of the epidermis. On the back surface of the skin of the hands of the hands in place of the former psoriatic plaques, the skin has a pale pink color. Joint functions are fully restored. There are no new rashes. The treatment is discontinued.
Control examinations after 1, 3, 6, 12 months. The skin of the hands has a natural color. Joint movements are free, there are no signs of deformation. Dz: healthy.
Example 2. Patient A. 52 years. Dz: progressive exudative psoriasis. Sick for over 30 years. Almost the entire surface of the body is covered from small-dotted to large in shape, in some places scaly-cortical layers of yellowish and gray psoriatic plaques. Plaques easily scrape off flakes. When trying to scrape off hardened scale-cortical plaques, soreness, bloody exudate are observed.
The patient was prescribed intramuscular injection of acyzole 1 ml 2 times a day. On the 4th day of treatment: the formation of new foci stopped, there was no infiltration around the existing plaques and exudates. The boundaries of the plaques are clear, in the places of exfoliation of the scales, the skin has a pale pink color.
On the 14th day of treatment, the patient's well-being improved significantly. The skin is almost cleansed of psoriatic plaques. The treatment is corrected - acizole intramuscularly, 1 ml 1 time per day.
On the 20th day of treatment, there were no new rashes; the last large plaques disappeared. The treatment is discontinued.
Observation after 1, 3, 6, 12 months. No relapse. Dz: Healthy.
