Abstract
Description
The invention relates to compressor units and can be used to dry compressed gas.
[1]. A known method of drying compressed gas using an adsorbent, including passing injected gas through two alternately working to dry the adsorber, while operating one of the adsorbers for drying. The second one is regenerated, and for the regeneration of the adsorber, part of the compressed gas is taken from the pipeline, heated sequentially in a regenerative heat exchanger and heater, after which gas is supplied to the adsorber, and the moistened gas leaving the adsorber is passed through a heat exchanger to heat the gas going to the regeneration, and fed to compressor suction [1].
Using the known method of drying the gas injected by the compressor leads to excessive losses of power and performance and requires a complicated design of the station.
[2]. A known method of drying compressed gas injected by a compressor into a storage battery, comprising passing the injected gas sequentially through an oil separator and two adsorbers operating in series to drain, periodically purge the oil separator and alternately regenerate the adsorbers, the adsorbers being regenerated by external heating and by blowing adsorbent previously dried gas [2].
The known method is also not economical enough, since a constant selection of gas from the storage battery for the regeneration of adsorbers is required.
The aim of the present invention is to increase the efficiency of the gas compression process in the compressor installation by reducing the amount of gas spent on regeneration, saving energy costs for regeneration, as well as improving the efficiency and reliability of the compressor installation, ensuring the simplification of its design.
The invention consists in the following.
In the process of drying the compressed gas pumped by the compressor into the storage battery, including the passage of the compressible gas through two adsorbers operating alternately for drying, periodically switched from the drying mode to the regeneration mode, which is carried out by heating the adsorber and removing the desorbed components, the adsorber is heated without first unloading it to 150-170 o C, and then begin the removal of desorbed components from the adsorption apparatus by periodical communication with the atmosphere adsorber pulse E for 5-10 sec with an interpulse interval of 5-10 minutes and heating is continued until the canister temperature reached 360-380 o C, after which heating and periodic message canister with the atmosphere is stopped.
The drawing shows a diagram of a compressor station in which the proposed method is implemented.
14. The compressor station includes a compressor 1, a discharge line 2 with two adsorbers 3 and 4 connected in parallel, a gas accumulator 5, quick-acting shut-off valves 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, a self-regulating unloading valve 12, pipes of the drainage line 13, pipelines of the regeneration line 14.
The housing of each adsorber 3 and 4 is equipped with electric heaters 15, 16 and temperature indicators 17, 18 of the bodies of the adsorbers. All high-speed shut-off valves are connected functionally through the control unit 19 with electric heaters 15, 16 and temperature indicators 17, 18 of the adsorber bodies.
During the operation of the compressor station, the gas after its compression in the compressor 1 enters one of the adsorbers 3 or 4, and then through the valves 10 or 11 and the gas accumulator 5 to the consumer.
Adsorbers 3 and 4 operate alternately (one runs on dehydration, and the other is regenerated). When the adsorber 3 is dry, valves 6 and 10 are open and valves 7, 8, 9 and 11 are closed. Compressed gas from compressor 1 enters adsorber 3 for drying, and dried gas from adsorber 3 through valve 10 and gas accumulator 5 enters the consumer. When the adsorbent in the adsorber 3 is saturated with moisture, the signal from the control unit 19 switches the adsorbers. In this case, the valves 6 and 10 are closed, disconnecting the adsorber 3 from the discharge line, and the valves 7 and 11 are opened, connecting the adsorber 4 to the discharge line. Thus, high pressure compressed gas remains in the adsorber 3.
By a signal from the control unit 19, a heater 15 is located, located on the outer surface of the adsorber 3, and heating of the adsorber and the adsorbent present in it begins. The temperature required for regeneration is controlled by a temperature signaling device 17. After reaching a temperature of 150-170 ° C, the signal from the control unit 19 begins to periodically open valve 8 at intervals of 5-10 minutes for 5-10 seconds, communicating adsorber 3 with regeneration line 14, and through a self-regulating relief valve 12 with drainage, and removing the desorbed components due to the pressure difference in the heated adsorber and in the drainage system, and the heating of the adsorber continues to 360-380 o C.
After that, the signal from the control unit 19 turns off the heater 15 and stops periodically opening the valve 8. The regeneration of the adsorber 3 is completed, after cooling it is ready to work for drying.
14. Similarly, the adsorber 4 is regenerated after it is disconnected from the discharge line when valves 7 and 11 are closed, it is heated by turning on the heater 16, the temperature is monitored by an alarm 18, the valve 9 is periodically opened, communicating the adsorber 4 with the regeneration line 14.
The proposed method of drying compressed gas is more economical compared to known methods by eliminating the need for supplying gas for regeneration from the gas accumulator. The proposed method allows to simplify the design and increase the reliability of the compressor station.
