Abstract
Description
The invention relates to polymer technology and the development of a layered decorative material that can be used for decorating surfaces of various nature, such as glass, wood, metal, paper, plastic.
Known layered material, including a plastic film, duplicated with a metallized polyethylene terephthalate film (1). The disadvantage of this layered material is the impossibility of embossing a pattern on it.
Known layered decorative material that contains polyvinyl chloride as a polymer base, an adhesive layer of low molecular weight rubber (chloroprene rubber) with a thickness of 20-50 μm and a metallized polyethylene terephthalate film (2). The adhesive layer leads to a significant reduction in internal stresses and provides a clear and stable stamping. The above decorative materials include a polymer film (polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride) as a base.
Paper-based layered materials are known that are intended for printing products, punch card manufacturing, but are not suitable for decorative decoration of various products (3-5). These materials include a paper base, an adhesive layer and a polymer film and differ only in the composition of the adhesive.
B 32 B 7/12, 1991). The closest to the proposed technical essence is a layered decorative material, including a polymer film with a metal coating, an adhesive layer based on acrylic dispersion and release paper (SU, A.C. 1639985, class B 32 B 7/12, 1991).
However, this material does not allow diversifying its decorative properties and improving the aesthetic perception of decorated surfaces.
The present invention is the creation of a layered decorative material on a paper basis with a wide range of decorative properties, which can be used to decorate surfaces with any radius of curvature.
The problem is solved by using in the proposed layered material a metallized film with a holographic image and an additional layer of alcohol-soluble modified resins between the metallized film and the adhesive layer.
For the manufacture of the proposed material using materials produced by the domestic industry. As a polymer film, you can use lavsan, polypropylene or polyvinyl chloride, on which a layer of aluminum is applied by vacuum deposition. An additional layer of modified resins is applied using 5% alcohol solutions. As modified resins, phenol-formaldehyde resins or rosin esters modified with 1-3 wt.% Dioctyl phthalate or dioctyl sebacinate obtained by mixing these components can be used. Upon receipt of the proposed layered material, the following components are used: acrylic dispersion AK-215 (TU 6-02-0209913-89), siliconized paper (TU 13-7309-621-90), phenol-formaldehyde resin (GOST 18699-80), dioctyl phthalate ( GOST 8728-77) dioctyl sebacinate (GOST 8728 - 66).
Example 1. An aluminum layer with a thickness of 300 is applied to a polymeric dacron film in a vacuum unit (residual pressure in the chamber 5 • 10 -4 mm Hg), after which the image is embossed on a metallized surface by hot stamping using a holographic matrix. Then, a layer with a thickness of 3 μm from a 5% alcohol solution of phenol-formaldehyde resin modified with 1 wt.% Dioctyl phthalate is applied to a metallized surface with a holographic image, after which an adhesive layer of AK-215 acrylic dispersion is applied using a smooth shaft, the material is dried and duplicated with release paper .
Example 2. A layered decorative material is made according to example 1, using polypropylene as a polymer film, and an additional layer is applied from an alcoholic solution of phenol-formaldehyde resin modified with 3 wt.% Dioctyl phthalate.
Example 3. Layered decorative material is made according to example 1, using polyvinyl chloride as a polymer film, and an additional layer is applied from an alcoholic solution of brand rosin ether (KM resin), modified with 2 wt.% Dioctylsebacinate.
The layered decorative material obtained by the examples is characterized by highly artistic decorative properties, while it can be used on a surface with any radius of curvature, due to the achieved stability of the holographic image by using selected layers of material.
