Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for cleaning sulfuric acid vapor from foreign inclusions, adsorption of sulfuric acid vapor and is intended for the production of strainers used in sulfuric acid plants for the production of sulfuric acid by contact method.
[1]. Known knitted fabric, which is produced by a double-thread knitted weave, consisting of one row, knitted from two threads, one of which is thermoplastic, and its melting point is lower than the melting point of the second thread [1].
The disadvantage of this device is the lack of sufficient chemoresistance.
[2]. Known filter cloth in the form of a mesh made of polypropylene monofilament and kapron thread on domestic circular knitting machines with cooler stitch for the production of mesh filter-water separators of gas turbine units of marine vessels [2].
The disadvantage of an analogue is the relatively low chemoresistance.
The prototype is a technical solution [3] relating to a filter cloth knitted from monofilaments by weaving the smooth surface [3]. Monofilaments are made of a thermoplastic fluorine-containing copolymer of vinylidene fluoride (VF) with tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) with a TFE content of 1 to 4 mol% (F-2M) on a class III knitting machine. As an accompanying yarn, dacron with a linear density of 90 tex was used.
The processability of knitting mesh is improved compared to peers, however, due to the dissolution of dacron filament in sulfuric acid, the efficiency of trapping acid splashes and particulate matter is reduced to 92 - 94% and the life of the filter from such a fabric is reduced by 1 - 1.5 years.
The technical result of the proposed solution is to increase the efficiency of trapping spray of sulfuric acid and particulate matter while increasing the service life of the filter device.
The technical result is achieved by replacing the material of the accompanying thread.
The filter cloth is a mesh made of monofilament (F-2M copolymer) with an accompanying thread of (complex) F-2M with a linear density of 60 - 90 tex or F-42 copolymer (TFE content of 20 - 25 wt.%) With a linear with a density of 90 tex.
The whole combination of the proposed features exhibits a new property, which consists in increasing the efficiency of the spray of sulfuric acid and solid particles, and also increase the service life of the filter device.
A comparison of the operating parameters of the proposed device in comparison with the prototype and analogue is presented in the table.
The conditions of the examples are as follows:
The concentration of sulfuric acid,% - 93 - 94
The temperature of sulfuric acid, o C - 80
The consumption of process gas, nm 3 / h - 130,000
Sulfuric acid spray (g / nm 3 ) / sulfuric acid mist (g / ni 3 ) - 0.2 - 0.5 / 0.2 - 1.0
Solid suspended particles, g / nm 3 - 0.01 - 0.03
From the test results it follows that the efficiency of the filter fabric is improved due to the same absorption capacity of the accompanying thread (complex) and monofilament from which the fabric is made. In addition, maximum efficiency is achieved with a linear density of 60 - 90 tex, for the F-2M copolymer and 90 tex for the F-42. The service life of filters from the proposed fabric is 1 to 2 years longer.
A single-loop circular knitting machine of the 5th class was used to obtain a filter mesh 1 m wide and the desired cell 5-6 8 - 10 mm. In the cylinder - a set of needles of one position. The diameter of the cylinder is 400. The number of needles in the cylinder is 240. The creel with a stand for two flanged reels with monofilament. The guy assembly ensures constant web tension. The accumulated web is rolled up.
The high-speed mode (0.6 m / s) of the machine was kept constant, the depth of cooling during running time was 9 mm.
Accompanying the complex, a thread with a strength of 30 cN / tex and an elongation of 10 - 12% was refueled simultaneously with monofilament and went along the transitions of knitted equipment in parallel with monofilament.
