Способ относится к медицине, а именно к травматологии и ортопедии, и может применяться при травмах коленного сустава. The method relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for injuries of the knee joint.

Известен способ лечения вывиха надколенника по Фриндлянду. Предусматривается коррекция ненормального положения прямой мышцы бедра (И.А.Мовшович, Оперативная ортопедия, М. 1983, с.233). Способ осуществляется следующим образом. По передней поверхности коленного сустава делается разрез до бугристости большеберцовой кости. Кожа и подкожная клетчатка отделяются от капсулы сустава с обеих сторон надколенника. Рассекается фасция и капсула вдоль прямой мышцы бедра до основания собственной связки с обеих сторон.
