Abstract
Description
The invention relates to fuel briquettes that can be used to meet the needs of the heat and power industry and for domestic consumption.
A known composition of the briquette containing a mixture (wt.) Of clay 10-25, potassium or sodium nitrate 5-20, aluminum or magnesium 5-15, coal - the rest [1]
The specified briquette in its composition contains clay as a binding component, and saltpeter and combustible materials as an igniting additive.
The main disadvantages of such a briquette is that clay, which is a non-combustible substance, reduces the calorific value of the briquette by 10-25% and makes it difficult to ignite. As a result of this, it is possible to use only high-quality coal as the main fuel in the briquette. The above disadvantages are partially offset by the introduction of potassium or sodium nitrate into the briquette, as well as aluminum or magnesium in a total amount of 10-35 wt. which significantly increases the cost of briquette and can lead to the release of environmentally hazardous nitrogen oxides.
Closest to the proposed composition of the briquette is a briquette containing a mixture (wt.) Of crushed peat 27.5-32.5; crushed hard coal or lignite 27.5-32.5 and waste products from cellulose nitrate production (incendiary additive based on gunpowder) up to 100 [2]
The main disadvantages of this briquette include the low efficiency of nitrocellulose production waste as an incendiary additive, as a result of which the mass of coal in the briquette is about one third of the mass of the briquette. It should also be noted the inconsistency of the composition of these wastes, crushed mainly with a change in the content of mineral components in the waste (sand), the limited amount of waste mass obtained, as well as environmental problems associated with harmful gas emissions from briquetting.
The objective of the invention is the creation of a fuel briquette having simplicity and economy in manufacturing, with higher incendiary properties, long burning time and environmental safety when using it.
To achieve these technical results, the fuel briquette includes a compressed mixture of coal fines, peat and incendiary additives, in which it contains recyclable solid rocket fuel and additionally contains alkali metal or alkaline earth metal carbonate in the following ratio, wt.
Торф 20-30;
Утилизированное твердое ракетное топливо 5-15;
Карбонат щелочного или щелочноземельного металла 4-12;
Угольная мелочь Остальное.Peat 20-30;
Recycled solid rocket fuel 5-15;
Carbonate of alkali or alkaline earth metal 4-12;
Coal Trifle Else.
The incendiary properties of the briquette are significantly improved when solid rocket fuel (TRT) is introduced into its composition, both ballistic and mixed types, extracted from the old missiles and subject to disposal.
The introduction into the briquette of chemical neutralizers of carbonate of alkali or alkaline earth metal provides protection from the harmful effects of environmentally hazardous, gaseous components released during fuel combustion.
When the briquette content is less than 5% TPT, the process of its flash and ignition of the entire mass of the briquette is delayed in time, and the efficiency of ignition of coal and peat from TPT in the briquette becomes unacceptably low. The TPT content in the briquette above 15% is not effective, since in this case the main process of burning most of the rocket fuel particles is carried out outside the briquette body and therefore does not contribute to ignition of energy fuel in it. The indicated boundaries of the concentration of TPT in the briquette determine the content of the chemical neutralizer in it within 4-12%
Example. Solid propellant mixed fuel containing in its composition, wt. ammonium perchlorate 62.0, aluminum powder 18.0, acrylate rubber with a plasticizer 19.5 and ferrocene 0.5, extracted from a rocket engine and crushed to minus 1 mm, are mixed in the ratio, wt. 55.0 45.0 with dusty potash or other carbonate of an alkali or alkaline earth metal. The resulting mixture is mixed with brown or bituminous coal, previously crushed to minus 1 mm and dried to a moisture content of 10-15% in the ratio, wt. 22.5 77.5. The resulting mixture is explosion and fireproof and is transported to the existing production of peat briquettes, where it is mixed with peat, pre-crushed to minus 3 mm and dried to a residual moisture content of 10-15% in the ratio, wt. 80 20. The resulting mixture is briquetted on a stamping or ring press with a briquetting pressure of at least 150 MPa.

The shape and dimensions of the briquettes are determined by the dimensions of the stamp of the press on which they are briquetted, and by the dimensions of the furnaces for burning in which they are intended.
The results of ignition and combustion of coal and brown coal and peat during an outburst of solid fuel in a briquette of the composition indicated above are shown in the table. In this case, the mass concentration of peat in the briquette was the minimum possible (under the conditions of the necessary strength of the briquettes) value of 20%, the concentration of TPT varied in the range from 0 to 25% in increments of 5% with a corresponding change in the concentration of coal and potash. As shown in the table, with an increase in the concentration of TPT in the composition up to 15%, the share of energy fuel burned during TRT ignition (coal and peat) increases from 25.1-27.3 to 42.4-44.3%, and with its further increase falls. The data in the table indicate that the inclusion of TPT in the briquette makes it possible to ensure stable ignition of energy fuel with the release of volatile substances from it in an amount of 30-45% during an outbreak of TPT, while the total burning time of the briquette is 7.0-8.0 minutes.
These tables indicate the technical and economic advantage of the proposed briquettes, providing an increase in the burning time of the briquettes from 2.0 to 7-8 minutes.
