Abstract
Description
1, данные авторов), гидратированного лингина 35-37% [3] Водопоглощение фибры при обработке ее по способу-прототипу (2-ванный способ с использованием препарата ГКЖ-10 [4]) составляет 42-44% (табл.1).The invention relates to the field of hydrophobization of cellulosic materials, in particular fiber, which is widely used in radio and electrical engineering, in the production of haberdashery products and other areas of the national economy [1]
Known methods for hydrophobization of cellulosic materials by processing them with dispersions of paraffins with zirconium salts (Persistol E) [2] followed by drying, as well as condensation products of methylolmelamine with N-hydroxymethyl stearylamide (preparation Alamine C) followed by drying and heat setting [2]
A known method of manufacturing a water-resistant fiber by impregnating it with an aqueous solution of hydrated lingin, drying and pre-pressing when heated [3]
Closest to the claimed is a method of hydrophobization of cellulosic materials by pretreatment with solutions of metal salts (copper, nickel) with a concentration of 0.5-2.0%, followed by impregnation with a 2.5% solution of sodium polyethylsiliconate (preparation GKZH-10) and drying [ 4]
The main disadvantage of the above methods is their low efficiency, resulting in high water absorption of the finished fiber. So, when using Persistol E it amounts to 45% Alamine-
The objective of the technical solution is to develop a method of hydrophobization of cellulosic materials, in particular fiber, which allows to reduce the water absorption of the finished fiber.
The problem is solved by the method of hydrophobization of cellulosic materials, in particular fibers, including the processing of fibers with solutions of copper and nickel salts and organosilicon liquid; drying, according to the invention is characterized in that as the organosilicon liquid use polyethylene siloxane liquid PES-5 [5] and the treatment is carried out at 20-80 o C for 3-12 hours
The proposed method allows to obtain the following advantages: to reduce the water absorption of fibers to 27-28% (table 2) compared with 42-44% when hydrophobized by the prototype method (table 1).
The inventive method of processing fibers with liquid PES-5 is shown in example 1. A method for determining the water absorption of fibers in accordance with GOST 14613-83 [6] is presented in example 2. Table 1.2 shows the results of measuring the water absorption of fibers hydrophobized in various ways.
2.Example 1. From a fiber with a thickness of 2 mm, 3 samples of size 50x50 mm are cut out, treated with aqueous solutions of copper or zinc salts, and dried with filter paper. Then it is treated with PES-5 polyethylsiloxane liquid and dried at 120 ° C. for 2 hours. The processing conditions are given in Table 2.
Example 2. Fiber samples are conditioned for 2 days at room temperature, then weighed with an error of not more than 0.02 g and immersed in a glass of water at 20 ± 2 o C.
0,01. Samples are kept in water for 24 hours, then the excess liquid is removed with filter paper and immediately weighed with an error of not more than 0.01.
1Water absorption is calculated by the formula, M [(m 2 - m 1 / m 1 ] • 100, where m 1 is the mass of the sample before immersion, g; m 2 is the mass of the sample after extraction from the liquid, g TTT1
