Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to veterinary medicine and can be used in the treatment of cows with serous and catarrhal mastitis.
Currently, in veterinary practice, for the treatment of these forms of mastitis in cows, mainly therapeutic preparations containing antibiotics are used. Antibiotic therapy for mastitis in cows creates the conditions for the emergence of resistant strains of pathogenic microorganisms in the udder, which are epidemiologically dangerous, in addition, antibiotics, excreted in milk, reduce its sanitary and technological properties. Therefore, it is urgent to develop drugs that allow you to get environmentally friendly products that do not contain antibiotics.
С. В. , 1990). There is a method of treating cows with patients with serous and catarrhal mastitis by intracisternal administration of a medicinal product of an immunozyme developed using biotechnology, but to obtain a good therapeutic effect, antibiotics are added to this drug (Ponomarev V.S. et al., 1991, Zudilin Yu.V., 1990).
The aim of the invention is to increase the effectiveness of the treatment of mastitis in cows, as well as eliminating the possibility of toxic substances entering milk.
Ф. А. , N Госуд. 12 D 1/18). The goal is achieved through the use of “streptoecolact” as an anti-mastitis drug, made on the basis of a culture of lactic acid microorganisms Streptococcus thermophilus strain 2KS (Semenikhina V.F., Khorkova E.A. - author certificate., N State registration. 755840, С 12 D 1/18).
The goal is also achieved by the fact that the aforementioned lyophilized culture of microorganisms Str. thermophilus strain 2KS is restored in a storage medium for 24-48 hours at 37-42 о С. Sterile skim milk with the addition of 1.0% sucrose is used as a storage medium.
In world practice, the use of the Str. thermophilus strain 2KS for the possibility of suppressing the development of pathogenic microflora in the udder of cows. It is established that Str. thermophilus strain 2KS successfully inhibits the growth of the most common causative agents of mastitis of cows Staph. aureus, i.e., have antibacterial, antagonistic properties.
Since the technical solution similar to the claimed is not known in the scientific, technical and patent literature, the claimed technical solution meets the criteria of "novelty" and "inventive step".
Also, the proposed proposal meets the criterion of "industrially applicable", since the products used (strain 2KS Str. Thermophilus) are produced in the dairy industry (produced by the VNIKMI manufacturing laboratory as "Ferment for the determination of inhibitors").
The application of the proposed treatment method was carried out similarly to the method of intra-uterine (intracisternal) use of therapeutic agents for mastitis in cows.
The drug "streptoecolact" is prepared as follows.
П р и м е р 1. 6,2. PRI me R 1. In a penicillin vial with a lyophilized culture Str. thermophilus strain 2KS was added 2.0 ml of sterile distilled water, pH 6.2.
The diluted culture was added to 100.0 ml of storage medium, sterile skim milk, pH 6.5. Thermostatic for 24 hours to obtain a dense, shiny clot at 37-42 about C.
П р и м е р 2. PRI me R 2. Diluted lyophilized culture of Str. thermophilus strain 2KS was introduced into sterile skim milk, pH 6.5, containing 1% sucrose. Thermostating then performed at 37-42 ° C for 24-36 hours.
1 ml of the drug contains 10 10 microbial cells. The resulting preparation (example 1.2) is a dense, uniform clot, shiny, white or cream color, the clot easily breaks when shaken.
Apply the drug "streptoecolact" as follows:
PRI me R 3. Conducted treatment of 11 cows with serous mastitis. The treatment was carried out after evening milking with the aim of a longer stay of the drug in the cavities of the udder. At the same time, cows with mastitis were treated with the existing method - the immunozyme - which is the prototype.
1. Of the affected quarters of the udder before administration of the drug, the residual amount of secretion was removed and a streptoecolact was administered intracisternally in an amount of 10.0 ml using a milk catheter, prepared as in Example 1.
After the introduction of the drug, a gentle massage of the affected quarter was carried out with the upward movement of the arms in order to more evenly distribute the drug inside the udder. Administration of streptoecolact is single.
As a result of the studies, it was found that in the treatment of cows with serous mastitis using streptoecolact, complete cure of the cows occurred on the 3-5th day, which is 1-2 days more effective than the prototype. In addition, the entry of antibiotics into milk is prevented.
П р и м е р 4. PRI me R 4. The treatment of cows (12 cows) of patients with catarrhal mastitis streptoecolact obtained as in example 2, at a dose of 15.0 ml. The introduction of the drug is similar to that in example 3, twice with an interval of 24 hours
Compared with the prototype, the effectiveness of treating cows with catarrhal mastitis with the proposed drug is higher - the cows were cured 2-3 days earlier, there were no complications, as in the treatment with immozyme, and the possibility of antibiotics getting into milk was excluded. (In the treatment of cows with mastitis patients using immozyme, antibiotics are used).
Thus, the proposed method for the treatment of cows with mastitis patients using the product allows to obtain an environmentally friendly medicinal product that does not have allergic and toxigenic properties in relation to the body of the cow in general and to the mammary gland in particular.
