Способ обогащения железной руды, включающий дробление и измельчение рудного сырья, его селективную флокуляцию, дешламацию и магнитную сепарацию песков дешламации с получением железорудного концентрата, отличающийся тем, что, при измельчении частицы рудного сырья обрабатывают диспергатором, представленным силикатными солями, затраты которых составляют 0,2-0,6 кг на одну тонну измельченной руды, при этом в диспергатор вносят 1,0-1,5% массовой доли солей тяжелых металлов, например, хрома, меди, цинка, а селективную флокуляцию частиц измельченной руды выполняют в жидкой среде дешламатора при рН 7,0-10,5.
