Description
The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to tool steel used for the manufacture of cold forming tools for pressing, drawing, punching, cutting, and upsetting operations.
The purpose of the invention is to increase strength, toughness and fluidity while maintaining wear resistance and hardness. The chemical composition of the studied melts proposed and known steels, their mechanical and casting properties are given in tables.
Steel is used after heat treatment in the following mode: annealing at 850-870 ° C for 4 hours, cooling to a temperature of 730-750 ° C and holding for 3-4 hours. The hardness of steel after annealing is 255-285 HB; quenching in oil from a heating temperature of 1080Ј10 ° С. Hardness after hardening and tempering 63.5-65.5 HRC3. Liquid flow-honor is determined by a complex sample
Nekhenji-Kuptsova at a pouring temperature of 1580-10 ° C; wear is determined on a friction machine 207 OSMT-1 by weight loss of samples; hardness, strength and toughness are determined by standard methods.
The proposed steel has a higher strength by 20-30%, fluidity by 30-35%, and impact strength by 2 times compared to the known one.
