SUBSTANCE: this method precsribes manufacturing alloy in salt bath containing melt which has density by 0.1 to 0.2 t/cu. m than that of alloy and introducing alloy composition at rate of 0.001 to 0.01 t/s onto liquid magnesium bed at least 0.3 m thick. Alloy composition includes 20 to 49 mass percent aluminum, 0.02 to 2.00 mass percent zinc, 0.2 to 3.0 mass percent mangansese, with magnesium making up the remainder. Secondary magnesium-containing alloy may be employed as alloy composition. EFFECT: more sophisticated technique and higher efficiency. 3 cl, 1 tbl
