Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a pieselor cu pereti subtiri din fonta cu grafit vermicular compact, prin turnare. în încarcatura se utilizeaza 25 ... 70% recirculate din productia fontei cu grafit vermicular ce contin unul sau mai multe din elementele antinodulizante Ti, Al, Sb, Sn. Modificarea fontelor se realizeaza cu aliaje modificatoare ce contin 4 ... 10% Mg, si 0 ... 2,5 pamânturi rare, cu sau fara elemente antinodulizante. Controlul actiunii elementelor antinodulizante se realizeaza prin controlul cantitatii lor în încarcatura (0,025 ... 0,20% din total încarcatura) si prin conducerea modificarii astfel încât în fonta finala sa existe corelare (4,4 . Ti + 2,3 Sn + 5,0 . Sb + 1,6 Al) : Mg = 20 ... 40 la valori ale continutului de magneziu remanent de 0,01 ... 0,025%.
