Abstract

Procedeul conform inventiei utilizeaza ca sursa de magneziu dolomita. Aceasta se descompune pe doua cai si anume: o parte se descompune cu acid clorhidric, obtinîndu-se solutie magnezitica cu continut de clorura de calciu si magneziu; o alta parte din dolomita se descompune termic, varul dolomitic obtinut servind la prepararea laptelui dolomitic înnobilat. Cele doua produse intermediare obtinute sînt utilizate apoi ca materii prime în procesul precipitarii hidroxidului de magneziu care, dupa separare si spalare, se usuca si se calcineaza obtinîndu-se oxid de magneziu tehnic cu peste 95% MgO.The process according to the invention uses as a source of magnesium dolomite. It breaks down in two ways, namely: one part decomposes with hydrochloric acid, obtaining a magnesium solution containing calcium and magnesium chloride; another part of the dolomite is thermally decomposed, the dolomite lime obtained by serving for the preparation of the dolomite enriched milk. The two intermediate products obtained are then used as starting materials in the precipitation process of magnesium hydroxide which, after separation and washing, is dried and calcined to obtain technical magnesium oxide with over 95% MgO.
