1535208 Calcium aluminate trisulphate hydrate MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC WORKS Ltd 14 Nov 1975 [15 Nov 1974 18 Nov 1974 10 Dec 1974 29 April 1975] 47007/75 Heading C1A [Also in Division C4] 3CaOÀAl 2 O 3 À3CaSO 4 À31-32H 2 O is prepared by reacting a calcium sulphate component in the presence of water at less than 120‹ C. with a raw material selected from or (iv) a mixture of a CaO/Ca(OH) 2 component and an alumina component. The product may be dehydrated to produce a dehydrate with fewer molecules of water of crystallization. Shaped hardened products may be prepared from the product and setting of the hardened product may be influenced by the addition of reaction retarding agents or accelerating agents.
