Abstract
Inventia se refera la un procedeu pentru prepararea 2,3-dihidro-2,2-dimetil-7-hidroxi-benzofuranului prin încalzirea 0-metaliloxifenolului la 0-metilpirocatechina si apoi ciclizarea acesteia, în mediu de solvent organic, caracterizat prin aceea ca, în cel putin una dintre etape încalzirea se efectueaza în prezenta unui derivat de staniu ales dintre clorura de staniu, acetati diacetati, metilat de staniu sau de dibutilstaniu sau de diclorbutilstaniu, de preferinta derivati de staniu bivalent la un raport de 0,0001...0,3 mol derivat de staniu la mol de compus de transformat, la temperaturi între 80...120 degree C.
