Abstract
Inventia se refera la un procedeu de recuperare a zincului din elemente galvanice uzate tip Leclanche. Procedeul de recuperare a zincului din elemente galvanice, dupa îndepartarea mecanica a învelisului lor exterior, consta în supunerea celulelor uzate unui atac cu solutii acide, de preferinta acid clorhidric, timp de 10-24 h, asigurîndu-se o agitare continua sau la anumite intervale a masei supuse dizolvarii, dupa care se face o decantare, urmata de o separare a solutiei de orice urme de substante nedizolvate, materialele spalate, ramase în urma decantarii si separarii putînd constitui obiectul unor procedee de reconditionare si recuperare, solutiei rezultate ajustîndu-i-se pH-ul la cca 14 cu o baza, de preferinta hidroxid de sodiu, solutiei alcaline eliminîndu-i-se amoniacul, prin încalzire sau prin barbotare de abur, dupa care se face o separare a precipitatului format din compusi greu solubili de mangan, fier, cadmiu, calciu, mercur, cupru s.a., de solutia în care se afla dizolvat zincul, aceasta solutie de zincat, puternic alcalina, acidulîndu-se treptat cu un acid, de preferinta acid clorhidric, pîna la un pH = 8-11, cînd se separa cantitativ oxid de zinc hidratat, usor filtrabil, care se separa apoi prin filtrare si spalare.The invention relates to a process for the recovery of zinc from used Leclanche galvanic elements. The process of zinc recovery from galvanic elements after mechanical removal of their outer coating consists in subjecting worn cells to attack with acidic solutions, preferably hydrochloric acid, for 10-24 hours, ensuring continuous stirring or at certain intervals of the mass to be dissolved, after which a decantation is carried out, followed by a separation of the solution from any traces of undissolved substances, the washed materials remaining after decanting and separating may be the object of reconditioning and recovery procedures, the resulting solution adjusting it, the pH is about 14 with a base, preferably sodium hydroxide, the alkaline solution being eliminated by ammonia, by heating or by steam bubbling, and then separating the precipitate formed from the manganese-soluble compounds, iron, cadmium, calcium, mercury, copper, from the solution in which zinc is dissolved, this galvanizing solution, strongly alkaline, gradually acidifying with an acid, p hydrochloric acid reference, to pH = 8-11, when quantitatively separating the slightly hydrated zinc oxide, which was then filtered off and washed.
